I'm torn on the hair issue.

If this IS an image fisheyed, like through a peephole, than the pale stuff wouldn't be hair.

But if it ISN'T fisheyed, than I'm leaning towards thinking it IS hair. I can see a part and everything. Honestly, when you view it while it's moving, it looks more like blonde hair, but in the stills it looks less so... kind of a frustrating conundrum.

I think the way the blond "hair" goes around the head makes it look like part of the wall to me. I can definitely see the little bit of blackness outlined in that image as being cropped brown hair (which could be J, Seth, or Brian).

It's equally possible that the image is just meant to be creepy and doesn't introduce a new character at all, like that weird face in Entry #23. But that's no fun.

its definitely not the same house. the stairs were right behind the girl when she was filming alex on the couch. different layout completely

My theory that I've come up with over the course of the day.

This is all a setup by someone to get control of Jay.

From the footage we are given, it is established that Alex has a "no camera" rule. This is either because he knows that cameras attract Slenderman, or because he has somewhat of a phobia of them after everything he went through.

In either case, it would be stupid to keep an old camera as a momento or whatever. He was adamant to abandon Marble Hornets, why would he keep anything? Why would he take that chance?

I believe that someone planted this camera in the house to be found for the sole reason of capturing Slenderman terrorizing Alex in the present.

Why would Alex ask for Jay's help in such a back assward way? Two weeks after the fact? Why would he take the time to send him the tape through the mail instead of just uploading it to youtube?

This whole thing stinks. I think Jay is walking right into a trap.

1) I know I'm new, but I figured I'd say this just to say it. Also, hello people!

2) I don't know if this has been brought up here, or anywhere else, so please, excuse me. I read it all once, but didn't pick up on it.

3) I was thinking about it, reading the forums, lurkin' as usual when a new video comes out. I remember the girl, Amy I think her name is, mentioning at the beginning of the tape that it was "all messed up" and stuff, and it hit me. What if the last part of Entry #26, where the sign comes up which says "HELP OX" was the ending of the original video? It would make sense, I suppose, if the new video didn't go too far over the original.
Which, of course, makes me ask "What the hell was on the video to begin with?!"

I'm having a few thoughts right now.
Alex did seem relatively calm, still out of it but not in the "I'm going to run away screaming" sense. Why would he remain calm around Slendy?

There could be two explanations, one, he knows running away won't solve the problem, Slendy will find him again.

But the other possible explanation, Slendy isn't a bringer of bad things, he's more a "messenger" of it. Alex knows, when Slendy is around bad things will happen but not because he causes them, he's more something that announces them.
So what is the better solution, run away from someone who could potentially "warn" you of a harm or wait and listen is you can maybe prevent it.
Like in Entry #14 when Alex face is all bloody, maybe Slendy didn't cause this but he scared something away that was in the process of that.

In Entry #7 he suddenly sees Slendy in the background, he's maybe not scared of him at that point but knows something bad is going on and decides to get out of there.


Since Amy there probably wouldn't understand whats going on and he doesn't want to involve her into it he simply sends her away to take on this alone.


It's possibly that he kept the camera and that tape around as a way to CALL Slendy, when he notes the strange things happening again he'd turn it on and start filming, somehow Slendy then finds him. She did this accidentally when she found the hidden camera, however since Slendy DID appear Alex knew something was cooking so he stayed behind to listen what's going on.

Maybe this also explains why he filmed himself all that time for a while, not because he might catch something interesting but so Slendy knew where he is. Remember that he only seems scared of Slendy in some videos but he never talks "bad" about him.
In some Entries it even seems like he actively seeks him. And why did he remove the audio from some tapes, maybe to protect Slendy?

And maybe burning the tapes was not about preventing to stir up all the Slender Man stuff but to prevent what would cause Slender Mans intervention.


And one question you could still throw in there. What is the Ark, what importance could it have?


Sorry for the long theory just had to get some thoughts out of my head about this .
