I'd say the biggest news is that a third channel on gknova6.com is up. Everything else is really just as mysterious as when this thing first began, there may be clues that point to the date 5-5-2010 and also clues pointing to more elements but we're pretty much still goin in circles....

The fact that it was sent to a COD site doesn't mean it's COD; Activision's marketing department (or whoever they use for that function) probably reuses their contact information so they could send anyone anything. There's nothing in the privacy policy that says communication must be COD-specific.

I know people at Raven, but I doubt they'll tell me anything.

This whole GKNOVA6 is from Treyarch for the new CoD7 game. There is no question about it. I got one of these USB devices. I have been to Treyarch and I run a fan site for their last game, someone there asked to confirm my address a week before the USB came... So ya, I know its about CoD7 since it is all about the Cold War.

Really?

I'm not forgiving Activision for what they've done to Infinity Ward just yet, but if it involve Call of Duty, I'm in.

I accidentally misspelled the URL for gknova6.com, and I managed to find this:

http://gknova.com/

Coincidence?

Honestly I doubt that site is part of this game, I looked it up and it's been around since '06 and expires in July, so probably not, unless Activision are sneaky beavers

Unless new evidence surfaces (which I doubt, but I digress) I think we can safely cross Freedom7.com off the list as well.

I am very sure that I have been to that site before and it did not have anything like the video that is on it now.

It states "Solution for... any problem".

Also of note: it has been pointed out before that gknova also developed the below site. The picture of the limo has changed. This was where the photo of the limo was found which someone used the numbers on the liscense plate to call a number which had a very strange recording of a child talking jibberish. http://larryslimosedans.com/

Ok, I realize everyone's pretty much dismissed freedom7.com already but there's a couple more facts I find intruiging here. And I'm enjoying this stuff lol...

Gorka.net as well as Freedom7.com both haven't been touched since May of 2007 and both got updated for the first time since on Apr 3, 2010 one of the possible days that the envelopes could've been put in the mail.......

I am with you on the Freedom7 website. The update on April 3 can not be coincidence. The creation/registration date does not matter as companies are buying out url's and domains all the time. Not too long ago it was quite profitable to sell domains. The most notable I can recal is virgin.com and pamelaanderson.com

What is the relevance of this site though?

Also agreeing that 5/5/10 is some important date. If the release of new information on gknova6 follows the same trend as we have seen we will get the fourth transmission on 22 or 23/04/10 and the last one on 5/5/10. As pointed out the date also relates to Alan Shepard who is quoted in the third transmission.

Look back to the stamp on the envelopes in which the USB devices were originally sent. It included the image of a person who when researched produced the date for the second transmission...

So is larryslimosedans.com a viral site or should we cross that out too?

I am very sure that the picture has changed but the phone number from the number plate I had written down was 6397 919.

Perhaps add the area code for Maryland and call it? so 727-639-7919

"Linear not algorythmic" leads me to think we need to apply a Linear Cypher. These are the most easy to understand sites I have found:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linear_feedback_shift_register
and
http://www.sagemath.org/doc/constructions/linear_codes.html#lfsrs

Hill Cypher is linear and talks a lot about elements...
http://ardsrk.blogspot.com/2006/04/hill-cipher-deciphered.html

Linear Spectrum gives me:
http://www.starlink.rl.ac.uk/star/docs/sun86.htx/node521.html
and
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectrum_of_an_operator

Linear Visible Spectum leads me to the below. Is there anything out there that can change the black and white image on the third video into color to get letters from this chart?

Ok, I'm trying to assess how the hell the code (MOD x 4) "10 21 26 1 26 19
25 16 22 2 20 1 21 23 16 26 22 19 3 " can be cracked. First off, with this plugged into a "Letter Number" Ciper (the easiest cipher on earth) you get....

J U Z A Z S Y P V B T A U W P Z V S C

An easy way to shift by either 4 or -4 is to use ROT-13 (Caesarian Shift)....

Shift by +4:
F Q V W V O U L R X P W Q S L V R O Y

Shift by -4:
N Y D E D W C T Z F X E Y A T D Z W G

The quote uttered at the beginning of the 3rd channel on gknova6 is from Kryptos' 2nd section. This section was de-ciphered with "Keyed- Vigenere" or "Quagmire III"..... http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/vigenere-keyed.php

The alphabet key used to decrypt the "K2" section of Kryptos was; "Kryptos"
And the passphrase was; "Abscissa"

I'm sure many are working on all this stuff as I type this but I just kinda wanted to make an assessment for my own notes as well. So....

I've taken;
-J U Z A Z S Y P V B T A U W P Z V S C
-F Q V W V O U L R X P W Q S L V R O Y
&
-N Y D E D W C T Z F X E Y A T D Z W G

And plugged each of these into the keyed vignere individually. I've used the alphabet key "Kryptos" and passphrase "Abscissa" and got nothing. I've also used; freedom, radium, palimpsest, and many other key words for both alphabet key AND passphrase and got nothing.
The only place where ANYTHING has been found within this code so far is a guy named "alltheway1" at http://www.movieviral.com/2010/04/22/gknova6-third-transmission-goes-live-more-codes/#comment-8674 who plugged one of the 3 codes above in to Purplehell.com's simple cryptogram solver ( http://www.purplehell.com/riddletools/applets/cryptogram.htm ) and got "Opened" from the first 6 characters and jargon again for the rest. You can plug any of the three from above into this cryptogram solver and get "opened" for the first 6 characters though.

Thoughts?
