More talking with claire this morning. I think we're coming closer to getting more of the events that happened during the kidnapping from her. While I was talking to her, it was basically the same information as before, but with confirmations on specific things that were speculation before, and the new bit of information (is it new?) that she was taken from Wolverhampton.

This confuses me, because, as she confirmed in the conversation, she was going over a bridge, leaving the London Eye behind her ( As in, going north across the Thames), yet, Wolverhampton is a 2-3 hour drive north of London.

Here's my current order of things.
Claire in Wolverhampton -> Kidnapped, taken for a ride -> passes the London Eye, heading over a bridge (most likely north again.) -> Green and red light event in bell tower -> Heading (north again?) to park in Milton Keynes -> Sees V with an old man 'on death's door' (Very likely to be VS, given the time this happened, and the meeting between JPW and VS in the same park.) -> Sees V is not her self, Claire runs

Now. When I was talking to her, I asked why anyone would take a three hour drive down to london, just to go back all the way up to Milton Keynes. (The trip from Wolvarhampton to Milton Keynes is about an hour and a half. The trip from Milton Keynes to London is about the same. She says she thinks it's to visit the tower. My only question about that, though, is that if she had to go north over the bridge past the Eye to get to the tower, why did they go that far down to begin with?

I'm starting to think that her brain is pulling a Pulp Fiction on her, unless the information she can't recall fills in these blanks.

During the conversation, a few things were brought up about how the lights possibly work, how the aging trick possibly works, how VS did his 'projecting' and V did her communication (think she called it Pulsing?), and other things. This lead me to think about how VS, V and JPW can (possibly) manipulate wiring and electricity through their 'complex mathematical' trick. As it was explained before, electricity and binary are basically the same thing (positive and negative, 1 and 0) and that's part of how they did what they did. I'm taking that further and thinking that the brain's impulses are electrical. Using a form of stimulation (In this case the red and green lights.), they could give the brain specific messages, which are taken as electrical pulses, and reprogram it (as a means of hypnotism).

Now, not totally giving away my idea on it, I went and asked JPW in an email about it, just to see what sort of information I would get from it, and tried pulling the 'I'd ask VS, but he's dead, and you both studied the same things' card, and acted as if I were interested in posing the idea as a new thing for the ministry look in to. I don't expect much in the line of useful game information, but maybe I'll get a heads up as to how that stuff worked. (that was one thing I constantly wondered about in the last part of this game.)

Any way, I'm starting to write a book with this post, so I'll cut it short. I haven't done anything with the actual ministry stuff so far, because I've been working the Claire side of this, but, keep me informed on what's going on there, and I'll try to keep you all updated on what's going on with her.

Got to head out, but wanted to quickly note: I've updated the poster as per Jason's request, and posted links to the new version in the Contest thread on the Ning (Aethalides requested I add it to the Ning in some way).

Thank you for your compliments on the poster...though the images were all from a Google images search for "time," heh . Nothing about a doomsday occurred to me, but looking at the clocks now that Jason's said that, I do see that a couple main images are positioned very close to 12:00.

Someone who is in direct contact with Poeas: please let her know that this is not a good time to draw attention to herself, and to be very careful as she goes about doing whatever it is she's doing. Jason has told me he will be watching her. As for how that came about, well, his correcting my misunderstanding of the Ministry's objectives led to my commenting that I had been led astray by a comment she'd made (referring to but not quoting her statement "Changing history for the better... hopefully..."). I guess that kinda ratted her out.

Looks like we have a bit of a rivalry going on inside the Ministry...if Poeas is the enemy of our enemy, maybe she can be our friend. However, I am not going to add her as a friend on the Ning; if Jason is looking at me as a possible first mate, then I want him to think of me as totally trustworthy. If Poeas' intentions are good ones, maybe I can do a little double-agent work. To be honest, I don't trust her, either, but time will tell, right?

Oh, the first sentence thing was a comment to the subject line, which was 'Redlight Greenlight', y'know, that game kids play.

I thought the sinople thing as well. Then when I was pointed to the Fringe reference, that stuck too. Basically I was just talking out of my ass with the whole email, trying to piece together the things they did last game with a way of making lights brainwash people. It seems by the response I got that I was either spot on, or so far off that he thinks I'm not a threat.

Dreamer, I just sent her an email urging caution, and answering her questions. I'm definitely up to being the primary contact point between us and Poeas. I don't entirely trust her either, just yet, but might as well hear her out.
