SPEC: Dalemail Items

I think that even though we have more than 9 items so far, these are the things the AGP puzzle refers to. People have recieved pages from 1 book, 4 cards all from the same set, a clay owl which was molded from the metal owl and apparently 2 of the small carved bone disks. Using this logic we only have 5 things so far.

This makes sense when you realize that sending only nine things to only nine people risks one or more not being made available to the group for any number of reasons. This way we will eventually get all nine items with many "duplicates".

And it makes you wonder what the point of mailing this to Meaghan was...

Possibilities:
She was contacting the guides behind Dale's back.
She was receiving stuff from one of her grade school friends who were heavily into this fairy stuff
She's a fairy herself, and these are the tools of the trade
    Something less believable...

unsure

I think the clay owl and the metal one were imprinted from the same thing, not from each other. Prolly makes no difference for your arguement, but wanted to clarify.

You're probably right. I didn't look closely enough at them and assumed that the heavy gauge aluminum was the mold for the clay. Looking at them again I tend to agree with you.

Could there be 18 items instead (9x2)? Nine objects to represent this world, another nine to represent the next? The basis for this theory are the two owls and the two bone disks.

Could these be components for a spell that allow Dale to cross over?

Could Dale have mistaken a postmark to Meaghan as a message from the guides that this is how to contact Meaghan? Did Dale tell the guides that he seeks Meaghan?

Could the "men with dead eyes" be gatekeepers trying to prevent Dale from crossing over? The circlular symbol may represent "the gate".

Could I use "could" in one more sentence?

Yes! Very Happy

The pendant I received is not like the carved ones, so it might be considered a separate item, unless you want to lump all jewelry together.
