Mazian, if you're going out today too, I'm going for the 13:39, 14:43, and perhaps the distant 15:49.

Mazian or anyone, try to go for the 13:37; it's the Market and Main intersection. It should be at the t-bone of where Main intersects Market. It didn't ring for me yesterday. There's another payphone nearby, but it's kinda near the corner of Market and Main. When going East you approach it before Main Street.

And after these payphones, more 'Burnout 3' fun!

isn't 13:39 a bit far? Laughing (that's a funny)

I'm planning on trying 12:27 s_typhi again. 3 times a charm?

13:37 (Chinatown) is too far for me. I will try to meet you at the 14:43 axon for hellos. 15:49 is a bit farther than I can make (today).

These are the ones that I show incomplete (in the morning):

very_lucky 7:59
its_a_chicken 9:21
its_a_chicken 9:31
break_em 10:27
s_typhi 12:27
domestic_skills 13:37
smarter 13:49
your_fault 14:43
butter_flavored 15:49

Obviously two of them are active, so it's debatable whether we wish to activate those.

I will be out of town starting tomorrow through Sunday, returning Monday. That will be my last chance to get some of these before we are presumably in to the next group of axons.

How is it far? It's about within a couple blocks East from the 14:03 location we met at yesterday, silly? ^_^

The Apple Store one is hard to find. Ranger D and I think it's the payphone across Market. My bf waited at the unlisted payphone on Geary as I waited at the Stockton side one on the previous set, and neither of the two set off. But there is a payphone across Market (on the South side) from that location. We have yet to verify that payphone.

According to my spreadsheet:

Wav: domestic_skills
Time: 13:39
Lat: 28.086757
Long: -82.4594
City: Lutz
State: Florida
Landmark: Lake Magdalene

From the fable.html page

13:39 PDT
28.086757 -082.459400

Yes, that would make a little more sense. Maybe you'll manage to get the .wav file unlocked. I'm looking forward to hearing domestic_skills, it sounds interesting.

met with hmrpita and Ammortal Ariock today at 47 Powell payphone (the 13:49) today. They told me, they've taken cared of a couple of locations earlier today. I successfully responded to that call. We rested at the Virgin/Starbucks corner. hmrpita pointed out the "not Apple Store" payphone and hmrpita won the call. You gotta be tricky with that payphone. hmrpita got it down to the science! ^_^ Now hmrpita and Ammortal Ariock are getting a couple water bottles for their hike to the 600 Broadway Chinatown payphone.

Best wishes to them!

San Francisco - 4 more fable axons hot, 5 more to go

Hi everyone,

The afternoon was a success! We hottentotted 4 axons. For a more detailed report, go to: Round 3 Axons

The five left to activate are:

7:59 (very_lucky) - Market btwn Fremont & 1st
9:21 (its_a_chicken) - South side of Geary, west of Powell
9:31 (its_a_chicken) - North side of Geary btwn Kearny & Grant
10:27 (break_em) - Market west of Montgomery
12:27 (s_typhi) - Market btwn Sansome and Montgomery

P.S. Ceantari, It was Ariock (not Ammortal) who was with me Smile

From what fable.html reads, someone today got the 09:31 and the 10:27 locations.

Way to go, whoever-that-may-be!

EDIT:

... still leaves the 07:59 and the 09:21, and perhaps the 12:27 (if that person doesn't get it - doubt it).

Is anybody going for this one? I could try to try if necessary (I've been pretty busy.). Also it looks like it might be a new one (at least new to me) - Telegraph between Durant & Channing (37.867517 -122.258817).
