Hey all, I have been lurking on this thread a bit. I tried to get signed up by sending an email to Aethalides, but no reply as yet.

Hmm. How long ago did you e-mail Aethalides? When he sends out the e-mails, if I recall correctly it's not from his actual e-mail address, but rather the Ning itself sending the invite...check your spam folder or junk folder or whatever you have and see if your invite ended up there. If not, and if it's been a few days, try e-mailing Aethalides again. If you want, PM me your e-mail address here and I'll send Aethalides a private message on the Ning telling him to keep his eyes peeled for your e-mail (don't worry, other players, I won't try to claim "contest" credit for this ).

ETA: Claire has set up a rival Ning. She encourages all us friends of V to join so we can problem-solve together, because there are some things that might connect to stuff we don't know about V but she would. She's invited me, so if you give me your e-mail addies I can get you invited, too.

Heya Zelda. Was just at MOA trying to say hello and help abit about the names when I was suspended from the chat. Oh well...

All the names are those of Argonauts. You may choose any one which is "not yet designated" 'tho check our MOA Wiki first as we're more updated. I simply chose a pleasant sounding name. While it's part of a butterfly species, that was just for fun.

Talking with Claire lots...and the Tarot imagery has come up again. Looks like today is to be considered the Magician card--the first trump--and that the Empress card (card III, which represents new beginnings) will be May 1, May Day. The pagan roots of the maypole came up...I didn't know it was supposed to be a huge penis!

It's missing.

It's been missing since--get this--1988.

The golden hare amulet is the Ministry's golden fleece...or so suggests Claire.

Remember last time we found that there were lots and lots of connections between the various clues? That our PM loves consilience? That we tried the idea of making a bubbl.us mindmap, and that helped in some ways but was difficult to get everyone working on effectively?

I've got a different idea: I'm going to dedicate a page of the wiki to consilience/connections between things. The page will have different sections, one per location/theme/person that keeps coming up in reference to various things. When a new mention comes up of an existing theme, add it to the appropriate section(s). Add sections as more locations/people/themes become apparent. Worth a shot? Ok, going to try this now.

From the test document, I got the italicized letters as:

but my eyes started to kinda cross, so that could be wrong.

At the bottom of the circle document are the words "Coburg School Autumn Term 1997"

I did some text editing magics and got: redunitcwestermancomhove.
I converted it to HTML and searched for all the italic tags. However, it still doesn't make sense to me.

I ran it through an anagram solver and it was a disaster, lol. Been trying to split it up, and the best I could come up with is:

Kinda freaked me out, because I told my best friend about MoA, thinking if she had time she might want to check it out and her name (without disclosing her complete identity) is C Western. Creeped me out a bit..
