It seems odd that there would be official news of this nature regarding a game that is in the midst of a ARG-type promotion. I think that this is another nail in the coffin that gknova6 has nothing to do with COD.

Not only that, but the next COD is set in Vietnam, which is a decade or so after this game's suggested era.

Either way I'm buying both games Smile If this has to do with Singularity, okay then but no game I know really 100%'ly matches. with the puzzle

I think if it was about a vietnam game, today would be important.

it was this day in 1975 that the war was over. soooo....unless something pops up today with anything to do with that, i would assume that this whole ARG being about a vietnam game is not the best idea

Erm

Nice try though

The time frame definitely suggests that the "NOVA TRUTHSEEKERS" posting is legit. I like to think I was all over transmission 3 at least within a few hours of it becoming available and the time that I first saw it was around Wed Apr 21, 2010 10:08 pm when I posted my findings here immediately. The post on alt.conspiracy was on Apr 20 at 11:30 pm.

To further that, the code (10 21 26 1 26 19 - 25 16 22 2 20 1 21 23 16 26 22 19 3) using Kryptos section 4's first line as an alphabet key comes out to be "Usenet - Dragonsbreath" (credit to "Shizzire" for cracking). I checked on the validity of that as soon as I could.

*edit: And of course this is only my two cents on whether or not the gknova6SPLATgmail.com posting is legit. This is not to say whether or not finding said posting is leading us anywhere other than in circles lol...

Hey guys I've been following this for awhile and I was wondering if I was the only one who left this site running in the background while they worked on stuff, because after the transmission stopped every other time it looped and this time it didn't So I waited a bit and for got about it, some time later (like 20min + I think) a diffrent voice comes on and it says

"1731475 *Pause* Again *pause* 1731475"

If someones already pointed this out sorry Razz I search the number and came up with nothing

The only reason I haven't posted before was because I didn't have anything to say

also It still hasn't looped yet I've left it on for a more than an hour now

Ok, just listened to it for a half hour straight and nothing yet. Got the speakers turned way up so I won't miss it and I sit up close to my computer at work nearly all day. I'll give it plenty of time.........

/facepalm

OK, so my timeline was a bit off... Razz

Regardless, I for one certainly don't get a Vietnam War vibe with this. Chemical and nuclear weapons just don't fit with that conflict.

No i swear I heard It it was like it was a completly diffrent voice Like I said I had forgot about it in the background, so I knew it was awhile I have no reason to just show up and be a ahole and make stuff up also I guess someone has noticed this but the lights on the TV have been moving down, and if you click on the top two it changes back to the old transmissions, ALSO after the music stuff the Tv continues to go fuzzy

Also just restarted it now will post when I hear it again so I no the exact time frame

Wow, ok this is weird. Seems the title is going to be black ops. THey must have felt threatened by all the news saying it was CoD Vietnam so they officially said it's Black Ops. That muddys the waters again significantly.
