And still three. Here are your stars, I think this might start being more guessable now. I think this lady is best described as luminous *sigh*.

[EDIT] Will give the US some time to wake up and then another still and a hint in a bit.

And here it is. I saw it in 3D, which involved hilarious, gratuitous, foreground desert cacti.

That's gotta be Professor Roy Hinkley of Gilligan's Island fame, Making this, "It Came from Outer Space"?

Correct! I love it. The screenwriter of the first treatment was Ray Bradbury, the monsters were truly rubbish. Even better, they didn't kill anyone and really didn't want to be on Earth. It was the humans who were the real bad-guys, unusual for this era and made it all the better in my book.

Heh. My wife always refers to them as "rug monsters", usually referring to Roddenberry's Star Trek creatures and that they look like somebody with a rug thrown over them.

Here's one that should go pretty fast for the folks from that era. it's the main character's signature vehicle. and this movie sould be found in MOKA under "Character name in title".

Nah. I did that one a few years back. He drove a Jeep.
Here's a date-establishing shot.

Wow. Gas at 57.9 . I remember those days, but it seems so long ago , it might not even be real.

I vaguely remember some movies with Charles Branson taking place in California. One where he was a watermelon farmer that had a truck. Too bad I pay absolutely no attention to cars.

IMDB tells me it was Mr. Majestjk

I don't think that is correct though, that car looks too nice for a poor farmer.

Well I found some videos of Mr Majestjk and he has some yellow old looking truck; not a fancy red one.

So I have no idea.

Another (more memorable, if you look closely) scene involving that truck.

Geez Rogi. I just don't know any cars - unless they've been recently reviewed by Top Gear. So, yes I would recognize a Vayron (or is it Veyron?). Other than that...I know the Audi from Art of the Heist.

I even went to that cars in movie database....but you can't search by color!

Someone else will have to get this one.

I'll bet you know more cars than you'd like to admit, rose.

Who's known for driving late '70s "screamin' chickens"?

It's not Smokey and the Bandit, so from that I would have to say it's Hooper.

Gah!

The TV Show Fall Guy was modeled on that movie, and I couldn't find or remember the name of the film. Lee Majors starred in the show, drove a very similar truck, and even did a scene with the whole driving in reverse deal.

Good job figuring that one out MrToasty!
