Azure,
I edited a post above with a screeny.

I've been watching it and I've seen it jump sometimes 10 bytes at a time

I understand if you don't want to screw anything up but if you minimize the console window by clicking the square, you can see the system clock what time does yours say?

May 7 - 11:41am. I think that's the time I opened the window at my terminal here at work.

Ok I'm going to keep a close eye on mine and see when it comes to your previous figure if it changes to what you had. Would be interesting if yours finishes up early.

Good idea by AzureWolf there.

You know, maybe it's a SETI@home sort of deal. The more users connected to the console, the faster it loads because each one of our systems is being used to process bits of data?

Oooh, you can move around the screen if you click and drag. XD

There's a print window behind it! Very Happy

Ok well it seems to have gone back to an even 5 bytes/sec now and no new sectors loaded.

I honestly wasn't doing anything except copying and pasting lines into the codes here.

I use a couple of java based programs and a CRT database. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I'm going to leave it open all day and see what happens.

I blame the beautiful Will 2.0 . I learned about this film last night minutes before everything started being found.

Simply a Countdown?

It's acting more like a countdown clock, one byte per second. It loaded a chunk to begin, then started trickling data like it was simply catching up.

/edit: merged. -ndemeter
