That's what I was thinking.
But for a second... just one second...
I almost blinked...

Well, reporting in from VA, I got my package too, it appears you ONLY get a 'Space Paranoids Pin' if you knocked out 999 Recognizers, oh well, at least cut the risk of my 'carpal tunnel' for another 10 years...hehe! By the way, where the hell is SP? Are they delaying YET AGAIN?!?

they're not delaying, it doesn't go live until 4pm EST. just over 20 minutes to go.

Oh ok, sorry, inbetween several 'browser tabs', my mistake, thanks for the info though, appreciated! I wonder though, which net browser will work the best for SP, Opera 10, Google Chrome OR Firefox 3.6?

I got my package today- and I guess I should consider myself lucky!

The label with my address on it was messed up. Who ever typed it up put the abbreviation for Vermont as VM instead of VT (VM isn't even at state), as well as only having 4 digits of my zip code. Some one scribbled it out with pen and re-wrote it by hand.

That kinda surprises me. I would think they would be some database of registered members they can just print out- but this implies that they are copying every single address "by hand". This might explain why some people never got their Badges me thinks...

And no, I did not enter my Address wrong on the website. After all, my encom badge managed to arrive with no typos. I will just attribute this to the fact that probably no one in Cali has heard of Vermont Laughing

It's times like that when the USPS makes me very happy. They can figure out almost any address--like when my Great Grandma tries to send things and scribbles out the address completely wrong, yet it still gets delivered.

I'm still waiting on my package here. Crossing my fingers for tomorrow!

Still no mail from Flynn Lives here in San Diego Sad Even considering I was on the puzzle within an hour.

I actually worked through every step, beginning to end. Just for the fun of it. I certainly wasn't expecting anything for it, but now that I've seen those pins...

Small goof on http://www.flynnlives.com/trackingsam_overview/

The first screenshot of the discussion board has this as the hyperlink:

Obviously that internal IP won't work outside of 42E...

What is so intriguing about that port number exactly?

It's probably a port number for internal development and/or testing; I do it all the time myself because on my Windows development machine I can only have one website on any given port, so I have multiple websites at ports 80, 8080, 8081, etc...

They probably forgot to switch it from an absolute link to a relative one.

On an unrelated note, I just received my Flynn Lives pin, two decals and note. But, to be honest, I don't know how I got it: it supposedly came regular mail, and has three stamps on it - 17 cents, 5 cents and 1 cent - which doesn't appear to be enough postage to mail it cross-country. Even with that, the stamps have been scratched out with a pen and there's no postmark, so it doesn't even look like it was handled by the USPS.

^ Weird. I got mine today as well, but it had a stamps.com stamp on it for $1.22 and was delivered via USPS first class mail.
