They took apart the SWF file, and apparently this should happen on May 18 at 20:00 PDT.
Hate to but I've already posted this
Oh, but you failed to link to the original post, and yet you flashed the fish.

Any way you can add my site to the wiki? It's been getting a lot of attention from the movie blogs today so hopefully it'll spark some good discussion.

Doh! I'm unaware of the etiquette behind these things. I take my flounder with pride (moreso as I have one of the little lovies in my tank )

This hasn't been posted and may in fact be common knowledge with no need to post, but the location in Ohio where the material was moved from Area 51 in 1979 is Hanger 18 at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton OH.

I grew up near there and remember the rumors and stories well. My Grandfather claimed to have friends on the base with direct knowledge of the events. (Of course as some of you may know this same Grandfather also told me aliens would abduct children from their beds late at night as he was tucking me in so take it for what its worth)

How to Trout:
1) politely link to the previous post on the subject that qualifies this one as trout;
2) make your post's subject [TROUT] ; and
3) add our friend the trout emoticon your post.
This makes it far easier for the mods to find and label - and it makes it fun.

Why do the mods watch for troutings? Are they dangerous?

Yes they are quite dangerous. Once in the early days of uF a large number of Trout escaped confinement and destroyed a small village in central america. Since that time their use has been tightly regulated. Why else would uF need a Game Warden?

There's a fish far more dangerous out there.
It can send players running astray in wild confusion and cause them to turn against each other.
It is..
The Red Herring!

So I waited the full 8 hours for it to complete the count up to 134640 Bytes and...as expected I got the AF library screen. I did not have the ability to execute, commit to tape or to print unfortunately.

Alright, so I've basically been lurking this thread since earlier today when I wanted to know more about the Super 8 ARG. I was able to get to the point where Vapor is at in a little under two hours (~8:35 - 10:26), although it's possible it could've been in less time because I just left it open in a tab while I did other things. I only remembered about it just a few minutes ago, came back to it, and found that screen. I couldn't do anything from it, so I started tabbing around the page to look for any links. During this random tabbing I was (stupidly) pressing enter, so I accidently ended up rebooting the simulation. I'm now at file 4, although I'm reluctant to go back to the tab. It seems to load if you don't open it. Maybe others should try this method?

Ok so I was skimming the thread since I had missed all of this and I saw discussion about the trailer "leak" being a setup, (well if I missed this, go ahead and trout me, late night skimming makes my thinker box hurt) but anyway that YouTube account was deleted, so either it was an inside job, or we just scared that person off of youtube
