Just when I thought I had seen it all.

Now I can say I've seen it all. That's just a mess. Who could ever figure that out?
Well... I'm quite positive that the webpage they just gave us is incorrect. Who names their site abcdefghijklmno. And is that a zero or an "o" at the end? 0 O... It's a zero...
Plus, since abcdefghijklmn repeats in that weird grid thingy... Is that binary? I'm lost...

It is an ARG. I just figured out that the whole bottom is written in Octal. I thought that looked kinda familiar being all by itself. Your baby brother is quite good at writing sentences in numerical programming languages...
Take:

And run it through an Octal translator and you get:

Cute. Pretty good for a child. Send that one to MIT.

And he accidentally must have posted this on my site too?

Yeah, this is an MIT kid for sure.
I'm intrigued. Too bad I'm too darn confused to be intrigued more. I'll work on this tomorrow, it's giving me a headache.
EDIT: One's on deaddrop too. This kid is pretty active for a baby.

[SOLVED] cryptogram
Quote:
j6 58j3 8w o8j853e. 8 qj yqf8ht 5497ho3 5qoi8ht. 0o3qw3 wqf3 j3.
take it and treat it as a cryptogram.
I like to use the cryptogram solver at oneacross, so I have to convert everything to letters.
due to the abundance of numbers, I changed all the f's to Xs, h's to Ss, e's to Zs, I's to u's (only a few of each)
j6 58j3 8w o8j853Z. 8 qj yqX8St 5497So3 5qoU8St. 0o3qw3 wqX3 j3
then I mapped 1-9 to A-I
jF EHjC Hw oHjHECZ. H qj yqXHSt EDIGSoC EqoUHSt. 0oCqwC wqXC jC.
and finally changed the Zero to a K.
jF EHjC Hw oHjHECZ. H qj yqXHSt EDIGSoC EqoUHSt. KoCqwC wqXC jC.
now I can take my normal cryptogram to oneacross.com....
and it solves it as

Interesting... but I still don't get the middle part at all.

Using the same substitution as the cryptogram, the subject of this topic - y3o0 - comes out as 'help'.

I've strugged with that middle section, and here's what I think:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The binary list and the code beneath are somehow related.
Here are some observations:
If you count down vertically, the counts are as follows:
a=1
b=3
c=5
d=7
e=9
f=3
g=12
h=2
i=4
j=6
k=8
l=7
m=10
n=11
There seems to be a definite progression here -- note also that numbers 3 and 7 are repeated twice (b=f=3, d=l=7). [Insert random Bungie/Halo spec here]
For the line below the box, the code seems to be of the following format:
= Line# Operators Ascii =
Each entry works this way except for the first and the last-- and each starts with a unique number from 1-12, which is why I think these two objects are related. If you take the last 8 digits of each, they contain the binary codes for the ASCII text
TGPEWRYTOCJ
I also think they're related because the last object in the list is simply the number 8. If you take the last eight digits of the 8th line, you get the ascii code for the letter N.
TGPEWRYTOCJN has no interesting Anagrams.
I've tried to figure out a meaning for those symbols in Esoteric Programming languages (Malbolge, Dis, Brainf***), Symbolic languages like Perl or Lisp, and even Regular Expression code, with no breakthroughs.
I'll keep looking, but maybe this can give some other bright mind a direction to work with.
