Perfect timing, as soon as MarbleHornet's taking a break; JJ brings this in. Oh how excited I am; although a little disappointed it's not Cloverfield related. Hmm... It looks weird. I wonder, what it is.

I know, it may be perhaps just my imagination, but this one looks like a face (in the sequence near to the end, after the "Something" is breaking the door)

Again, I'd be very careful with such sequences, since I can remember all those Rorschach tests of Cloverfield trailer, where people saw giant turtles and stuff

A trial of a program expired, so I had to do a lot of searching and I finally found another program that is currently downloading right now, so like another 10 min, sorry!

Yeah, feel go for it! Perhaps it's just "transition" effect, or perhaps they used for this some footage, who knows.
So we need everything we'll found, we just have to be very careful with our speculations (which can in case of Cloverfield yield very curious fruits, like alive and huge Lion )

Oh, was this "face" posted already? In this case I just myself.

Btw. the transition effects look like Videocopilot, who already helped to JJ Abrams with LOST and Fringe.

I'm getting a bit worried, the signal to noise ratio is already getting a big unwieldy. All new followers: thanks for all your interest and output but please flick through all previous pages in the thread before posting! Checking the wiki or other gossip sites wouldn't hurt either.

Also try to refrain from posting unless you actually get any decent leads, rather than ideas for leads. It'll help reduce unnecessary noise!

Ok so I looked at the trailer at 10% speed and either it is too fast (lol yes that's right) or we are just seeing things, it kind of looks like the film kind of skips i think in some way, but if someone else wants to look at it they can

Because this is likely to play out a bit like Cloverfield, there's likely not going to be conventional puzzles. That means a lot of detective type work, which means a lot of speculation. When this stops being contained in a monolithic thread and is moved into it's own forum - and I have no doubt it will - there'll be a lot more room for [SPEC] (speculation) threads. The key is to do our best to keep [INFO] threads separate from the elaborate [SPEC] threads.

Hey. I don't know if anybody tried this but i decompiled swf thats on the officisl super 8 movie site and recovered video with some text in it. transforming to frame sequence now. how do i make an attachmente here?
