Just a small thing, but I found what was probably the original image for the flight coupon on google.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3b/Flugschein.JPG

So my guess would be that anything that matches up on the two is pretty negligible, like the "1 of 3" that someone mentioned before.

OK. I tried to get the differences between the two tickets:

Emma's Wikipedia's

Company Pieubrecht Air Thai Airways Intl
Date 24 April 2010 26 February 06
Passenger Emma Ward Ms Sebulke/Bualong Mrs
From Denver Munich
To Seattle Bangkok
Price $ 25.00 € 100
Time 4:30 (am, I suppose) 21:10
Payment mode Cash INV
Fare calculation No information Long letter string

Not identified: -In the center-down zone, 30K has been changed into 30.
-In the left-down corner, all the EUR have been changed into $ signs.

Hope it helps us to see what the changed zones mean.

Can anyone try to stegdetect Emma's ticket? I'm not on my computer for the moment...

Sorry for the double post, but it logged me out for some reason and deleted all the "unnecessary spaces", so I couldn't edit it to make it look cleaner (and readable).

I'll try to detect steganography as soon as I'm in front of my own computer.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
EDIT: Either it doesn't have any filed camouflaged, or it needs a password. I guess it will be the first. I'll keep working to find out what Pieubrecht Air means.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
EDIT2: Here are five Pieubrecht air two-word anagrams an online server found:
Beaut Chirpier
Peachier Bruit
Hepatic Rubier
Heartier Pubic
Earthier Pubic

And just for "Pieubrecht":
Butcher Pie
Bitch Puree
Bitch Rupee
Pubic Ether
Pubic Three
Pubic There
Cub Prithee
Tube Cipher
Hub Receipt
Bruit Cheep
Pub Heretic

Bold ones are those who seem more probable to me. What do you think?

Progress!

On Ainsley's blog Mary Meerkat found the address http://bouldersandboatsadventures.com/Sale/ led to a directory.

After navigating through a series of directories we reach: http://bouldersandboatsadventures.com/Sale/Aweigh/Wile/Gnu/Awed/Cents/Wreak/Threw/Yore/heir.zip

Inside, we have some chat logs, and an expense slip. I've informed Ainsley about the hotel name.

Ainsley's put up some photos on her facebook page.

I suspect that each photo represents a letter. So far:

A bee - B
A window with an e - E
???
A sign with an i - I
A piano with g indicated - G
A jay - J
Some wood (yew?) - U

But, what should they be used for?

EDIT: Hang on, if the eye looking through the wood means 'I' and the fencing in the other photo is 'N', we have an anagram of 'Beijing'.

Oh my.

It's a picture of the carved stone we've been hearing so much about.
I'm not sure if there's anything to be gathered from the photo.
(From Facebook page)

Well..
I don't know if anyone else noticed.
But I guess we can stop guessing what the "Sale away while new odd scents reek through your air" was hinting at.

And the zipper is because it's a .zip file.

I'm not sure if this is the right track at all, but it might give someone else some ideas so I'll post what I've managed so far on this latest puzzle:

Fpfbdi
icxbnc
radsfi
eudfvj
wdjuku
atrsdo
lsedlk
lpgfbh
silgey
hedfbg
iyujng
rwsdfi
epdjvn
dxhges

Seems to spell out "Firewalls hired"
Though no other words can be made and I'm trying other divisors of 84

Alright, I guess this leads to a new directory on the website.
http://bouldersandboatsadventures.com/sale/fir/Whirled/
Which contains three new pictures.

It's not tea. The picture is of a chinese serving set. Smile

You can buy it for $90 at Target. Link: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/182-3882261-9251118?asin=B001TI2ZG4&AFID=Froogle_df&LNM=|B001TI2ZG4&CPNG=kitchen&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001

Judging by the last entry on AInsley's blog, this is over for now, but we may be seeing further development of the story.

Well, the character Dela Reese is definitely from the books: [Tiger Eye by Marjorie M. Liu]

Wait - so we have to buy/check that item at Beijing's World Mall? Hope not.

Also, I'll try to come up with a site map for www.bouldersandboatsadventures.com/Sale just if a new weird phrase pops up. May take some time though.
