Haven't had time to backtrack the thread, but did anyone outside of the US receive the package yet? I'm from Ontario and I finished the 999 kills, etc, within the first hour that it went live.

Ditto. We Ontarians must stick together! Wink

Well I dunno about Ontario, but here in London I just got my pins and stickers Smile

That 89 pin is sweet. I saw Iron Man 2 last night and they had the Tron: Legacy trailer beforehand and I noticed Sam has the 89 logo on the back of his motorcycle helmet in the trailer. It's pretty visible but I never noticed it before because I didn't realize what I was looking at.

I loves that pin.

I also noticed some NEW in the trailer, if you look at the motorbike, as Sam sits on his sofa whilest Alan tells him the news about his father, you can clearly see a DUCATI logo on it, you will remember that Kevin, in the notations on his server in the image about the 4X4 vehicle program, he talked about his DUCATI. Like father, like son....

Empire have posted a couple pieces of concept art I haven't seen before: Linky

There's a URL tag in the bottom left of the ones that are new to me, but I can't make it out...

EDIT: Little bit of digging reveals it's from a Garret Hedlund fansite: Linky2

EDIT2 (it's a quiet day, alright?!): Games Radar has a tiny peek at the Tron: Evolution game, with a screenshot of digital Olivia Wilde: Linky3

So my original package with my 89 stickers, 89 pin, and space paranoids pin didn't have the thanks for tracking Sam Flynn note or the 999 recognizers note. Imagine my surprise yesterday when I looked in the mail and found 2 white envelopes with both notes in them and 1 had an extra 89 sticker in it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very cool. Even if they are just two pieces of paper, at least they are doing their damnedest to keep the fans happy. Big thumbs up to the great work 42E has been doing.

My Zero Hour drop phone expires May 20th

So I got a call from Virgin Mobile a couple days ago, the automated message tells me I need to top-up with $20 to keep my drop phone alive. Anybody else dealing with this dilemma?

They should pay the phonebill for the drop phones forever and ever and ever...
I'm kinda surprised you guys have gotten service this long. I'd pay the $20. Pretty cheap. Or you could sell it as swag, as I'm sure there are people who would be interested in buying it. (Although you'd want some sort of proof of its origin, I'd suppose.)
Yeah, I realize you didn't ask for my opinion... 'specially when I don't have a drop phone myself. Just bored and throwing my 2 cents out there. Wink

I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands and take care of any phone bills that come up. Let me know if you're interested.

BTW, hats off to everyone here. I am a freakin' Tron madman, it's in my top five films ever (that's saying a lot since I graduated in Film and watch at least a couple a day), and the effort put in here blows my mind. Kind of puts me in my place, I couldn't have gotten this far on my own, well, maybe on a few (*Ahem* I did solve a fair number of Infocom adventures completely on my own).

Hats off to everyone here. BTW trailer spoilers follow (is that allowed here?) Oh I guess I get to use the spoiler button!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So I think that 1.) "Flynn's lightcycle/ride, the one that's the fastest on the net, is the lightcycle screaming into the city; 2.) the guy with the reddish helmet/suit wielding two discs is Tron, and 3.) CLU is not such a nice guy anymore.

My two cents on the latest trailer, which is best seen on a 73' IMAX screen!!

Oh man, how could I forget?!?

Got home yesterday to find an Amazon package on my front steps. The first three trade paperbacks of The Losers. Good read so far.

Come in and see on the kitchen table, yes, a package from Flynn Lives. Thought I had gotten in too late to get the 89 pin, but hell yeah! Wore it to work today. No one mentioned it at all. Figure they have no idea what it means.

Cool couple of days. Wondering about stickering my car, but I'm wondering if anyone knows how it would hold up to the weather. I live in Colorado.

Oh, and to the dude/dudette who got the Denver drop - what, do you live like two minutes from Elitch Lanes? I must admit I didn't think to hope to get there before someone else, but that didn't take any of the fun out of the last twenty seconds ripping into the parking lot, running in while not bothering to lock my car door, at that point I didn't even care if my iPod would have been stolen. Ran in to have my hopes and dreams completely and utterly smashed by her telling me not that I missed it, but that I missed it by 15 minutes. It took me 20 minutes to get from the DTC to Elitch Lanes.

So, does anyone have any idea when the next update will drop for Flynn Lives, or any of the other interconnected sites? I'm having a great time so far participating in this ARG, especially since it's the first one I've actually discovered earlier on in the story development. I can't wait to see what develops in the future.

Wednesdays have been very popular days for the promulgation of content.
I haven't been diggin' the midday timeframes for releases, though, being a nine-to-fiver.
BTW: I'm PDT. Same as 42e.

Sad And so far no update this week it appears, seems the real ones are coming every other week now, doesn't bother me too much Sad . Wink Good to see them biding their time between 'MASSIVE missions' Wink .

Either that or the update's tomorrow, since there was no update on Wed last week, but there was the next day with SPO releasing.
