I think you referring to the part where he says

Is anybody absolutely sure these two wavs are taking place in the same time frame as the other wav files? I just have something brewing, but don't wanna write nonsense (I used to do a lot of that ) I hear a lot of past-tense language being used in these wavs where as in all the other ones it's in present-tense.

Here's my transcript:
Quote:
<long windup>
Horns honking, footsteps. Door opens, footsteps continue.
Accent: Hey, you dry old man, they have very good pie here!
Navy: Best in Boston.
Accent: Apple, key lime, french silk, or baklava, although the best baklava is from (sounds like Ako maybe?), one of those places everyone has been: Romans, crusaders, people as old as you!
Navy: You're older than I am!
Accent: That's how I know you're an old man.
Navy: Key lime then.
Accent: 2 pieces of key lime...and coffee
Waitress: coming up
Accent: What happened?
Navy: With the chatternet?
Accent: With everything.
Navy: The ship, the one that crashed out of the slipstream inside lunar orbit
Accent: The Apocalypso?
Navy: Eh, right.
Accent: It wasn't just the ship?
Navy: Right.
Accent: It was one of ours, eh? Navy spy ship?
Navy: Right again.
Accent: There's moooore. But either you don't know it or you can't tell me.
Navy: Ehh you said you had a recruit.
Accent: A candidate.
Navy: <sighs> A candidate.
Accent: You should retire old man!
Navy: I have work to do, more work since some people left the business to take soft professor jobs.
Accent: I got too old for the game. And I was younger than you are now!
Navy: You said you had a candidate.
Accent: A mouse. You would never know she's there, she's a scholarship girl from some godforsaken hick town, although the only way you can tell is her haircut. She's got the clothes, alright, she just seems to have a blind spot about the hair.
Navy: Good, good.
Accent: She looks at the things ordinary people do like a scientist...
Navy: Like a detective!
Accent: Also persistent as hell. I'll send you a dossier next week.
<footsteps, plates being set down>
Navy: Ah, the famous pie.
<long winddown>

time frame well, they refer to the Apocalypso so it is after that ship appears on the scene, but it seems to be a recent event.
assuming that the Apocalypso somehow caused the power interrupt (heard about indirectly on all the first batch of waves) when it was entering the sub-lunar orbit, I would say that they are all in the same general time frame.

I think these two .wav files happen after the other clips on the recipe3 page. Enough time has passed that news of the crash has spread. Though the true nature of the event was probably covered up.

True, not Kamal. Though I don't think it's somebody new... I think it's the guy who pretends to be the CoM who calls to complain about being evac'ed from Troy and has a recipt.

I'm not convinced either way, but I'm leaning toward the recipe3 wavs as being memories of Melissa's past and the other wavs (Kamal/Jersey/Jan) being "current events" that are intercepted as they are transmitted.
What I don't understand, though, is why the recipe3 wavs are separated. If the point of sending the voiceclips out to axons is so that the crew (us) can interpret them for her, then why does Melissa hide these axons on a non-accessible page that we only find with the help of SP?? If Melissa wants interpretation, why hide the coords??

SP wants us to know and doesn't want to alert Melissa?

Yeah, I'm guessing that too... but I'm not questioning SP's motives, I'm questioning Melissa's. If she's the one that WANTS interpretation, why hide the coords that would help us give her interpretation??

I speculate that the Princess is able to access data that perhaps the Queen is too damaged or not clever enough to recover for herself. Or, maybe the Queen -is- clever enough, and is withholding sensitive data from her crew, but the Princess would like us to see it anyway, for whatever her motivation.
