As I am currently as work and limited in my calculation ability, what time would that be PST?

Ah, and people, if nothing happens, don't get mad, don't destroy furniture around of you and don't do another nasty things (I know my old myself, fighting those times with white bear incidents etc., now I'm older and wiser, Laughing ).

Anyway, if nothing happens - than it is so planed. I mean, I don't know, how many of the ARG story is there at the moment, and they have really more than a year before the movie starts.

Star Trek ARG was for example really near to movie start, so we almost feared, we won't get it till premiere.

Anyway, sure, they made that teaser hint in the trailer, and they have a story to tell. But don't let be demotivated if after a countdown happens something not satisfying your hopes. Because it's we, who produce hopes and project them at the Bright Moment of the Countdown Ending Smile

It would take much more than a non-event to get me down.

I agree with you Kosmopol, but i do fear that some people will overreact and well lose some people from it, but those people would probably not be too helpful in the long term, so no big loss. I just hope that it isnt too anticlimactic for our week's worth of wait. Hoping its more than that stop posting publicly message that was supposedly found by a few people that got into the SWF file

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it or noticed but how many bytes in size has each item (1-20) been? I know we're looking at a total of 134640 bytes of data being downloaded and 20 items. The size of each items downloaded might provide a clue as to what to expect when it completes.

I ran a couple of tests when we were on sector 4 and almost on 5. I divided the total 134640 bytes by 20 and calculated when sector 4 should have ended. My math was solid (I checked it over and over) but sector 4 did not finish when I calculated it would. I don't think the sectors are all of equal size.

I also did calculations going from sectors 6 to 7 and 7 to 8, and it didn't work out either. It would be helpful to know the size of each sector, but I don't think anyone has been keeping track of that.

Estimates have been on file size in bytes and approximate download speed of 1 byte every 5 seconds. That's effectively remained consistent since it was discovered, and aside from adjustments to the countdown code and values, has remained at ~11pm EDT for quite some time...

Countdown

I know how you guys like to believe its 1 byte every 5 seconds, but to me it looks like a patern of 5 seconds 7 seconds 2 or 1 seconds (cant count that fast) and about 7 again....its like its trying to say something...idk when the cycle starts or stops

btw if you google 5727 you get North federal highway, associated with Fort Lauderadle florida...Another airforce base...I dont think this is a coincidence...
