I think if you take the broken up message from the newspaper its supposed to say, no certainty if alive, may be after us, we go underground. just because the way with the space between the a and live makes it a weirder message. Maybe whatever was on the train?

And the ad for "Rocket Poppeteers", the 'delicious frozen treat'...shades of "Slusho" (whose 'mystery ingredient' MUST be kept cold)...an odd coincidence, no?

Haha, I think that J.J.Abrams simply has a sweet tooth. But it is possible...

Where are you seeing that Rocket Poppeteers are frozen? Nothing on the print ad says so...in fact, they have a gumball inside. Seems to me they're more like lollipops than popsicles.

Dude!!! You never had that badass Ninja Turtle ice cream with gumballs for eyes? Did you even have an ice cream man?

Ha, nope, didn't have Ninja Turtle ice cream. Gum in my ice cream seems really gross. And I still don't see any evidence that these pops are frozen, so the connection with Slusho is just conjecture at this point.

An ice cream truck came through my neighborhood yesterday...I should've gone down there, they may have had them. Check your ice cream men and gas stations. They may be coming soon.

Okay, yes, I have had that kind of popcicle, called a "rocket pop" or a "bomb pop"...but definitely no gum in it.

Is this getting OT?

I remember in the Cloverfield Viral, people who purchased things from Slusho.com got a Japanese newspaper with some clues on it.

Who wants to send in the Rocket Poppeteer Application???

I think i just might.
