I don't think this has been mentioned, but here's the link to the picture used (via google image search)

Probably also not the answer:

http://www.livejournal.com/~captain_morgan

Also - thanks Spuds and Valas - but it's actually pretty hard to research the Masons if you don't know much (tho I recognized the apron), because most of the sites that come up are debunkers out to prove all these rituals (described in detail) are the work of Satan etc etc. Weirds me out both ways.

Don't know much about it either, but then Spuds and me had a sorta conversation about this thread, with a lot of I can't talk about it on his end. Very Happy

Was enough of a clue to do some digging. Laughing

Phonetic Information

I contacted fellow Cloudmaker and linguist extraordinaire, Karen Ingraffea, and this was her response:

Quote:
Ok here's what it looks like to me (there are
no clear word boundaries so I'm kinda improvising here, but I can give you
the sounds). First observation: this phrase is a URL.On with the
translation!

live jenul (whoever wrote this a. cannot spell well phonetically and b.may
be from boston b/c of the r-dropping i detect - they meant "journal") dot
com slash tilde who underscore in

in other words, livejournal.com/~who_in

BUT...that URL is not valid. The user may not have gone active yet
(unlikely, since livejournal is so hard to join), or they may have made a
mistake in the phonetic spelling. I tried assorted variations like taking
out the tilde, adding a /users/, spelling "who" differently...no luck. So
I'll leave that part up to you guys to brute force...but that is what the
phrase says. In other words, whoever wrote it is MAKING MY LIFE DIFFICULT!!

Oh, also - in case you need the info, here's a sound-for-sound translation:

l = l
aI = i (as in live)
v = v

dz(not z, but hotmail doesn't know phonetic type) = j
3: = either e (as in bet) or er (as in bert)
n = n
upside-down-e = schwa = u (as in hut)
l = l again

d = d
backwards small a = a (as in hot)
t = t

k = c (as in cat)
backwards small a = a as in hot
m = m

s = s
l = l
ae = a (as in hat)
long s (aka "esh") = sh (as in shit)

t = t
I = i (as in pit)
l = l
d = d
schwa = u as in hut

h = h
u: = (as far as I can tell...the : isn't standard notation) oo (as in boot)

upside-down v = u (same as schwa)
n = n
d = d
r = r
s = s
k = c as in cat
backwards c: = either or (as in order) or aw (as in paw)

r = (may be part of "underscore" or may be part of next word)
I = i as in pit
n = n

Hope that helps!

I think we're being told, none too subtlely, that this is where we are supposed to be looking. there is a new entry today which corresponds with the timing of this last post.
