If you want to know why I'm saying this, go look at http://www.brejningelev.dk/lir/trail/hate.html.

The Janis Joplin lyrics are fairly innocuous, except for one thing, the word Porsches is misspelt as Porches, AND it's the only capitalised word...is this a codeword?

How does this relate to the barcode? Oh yeh, and has anyone found a decent barcode decoder page - cos I can't.

I've tried nowhere.html, no-where.html, and now-here.html
the first one sends me back to the index.html, and the other 2 give me 404.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
there actually is a nowhere.html, which kick you back to index.html. on nowhere.html you can quickly see that it says "If you can't seem to find it, try looking elsewhere."

Might be a good idea to keep track of URLs tried, so here's what I've attempted (all with .html on the end):

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

  • right_behind_you, right-behind-you, rightbehindyou, you-right, you_right, youright
  • t, tee, tea, v, vee
  • chair, seat, chairback, door, trail
  • back, spine, arse, ass, butt, bottom, backside, rear, bum
  • Yoruba, youd, yook (those three were right behind "you" in the dictionary Wink)
  • turnaround, turn, aboutturn, about-turn, about_turn

I'll add to this list if I think of any more! Can anyone think of a well-known phrase to do with "right behind you" cos that might hold the key.

After this latest page, we have 8 ones or zeros from the page titles, when ordered, they make: 00101011

Translated from binary it makes: +

(The nowhere.html page didnt have a number)

Probably a red herring, but since noone mentioned it, there was one last little puzzle:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

in the source for on nothing-to-find-here:

The two sons and the two fathers went out fishing. They caught 3 fish, which fed them with one fish per person.
How can that be?

The answer is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Two sons and two fathers are actually a Grandfather, his Son who is also a father, and his son. Therefore, there are only three men: the middle guy counts as both a Father and Son.

one-son-is-a-father.html and one-father-is-a-son.html
don't work though, and there's so many ways to spell it out. The point is moot anyway, as the game is over.

Dammit!

I just KNEW those 1's and 0's in the titles would come into play, shame I couldn't put one and nothing together and make +!!!

In my defence, it was late at night Wink

Great trail jchillerup, let me know when you get part 2 up!!
