New Clues

OK guys, I don't know if this is relevant or not, but I just checked the SUPER-8 Facebook and some guy posted something about a website named ALADYGMA.COM and the phrase at the bottom, "follow the white spaces," sounds VERY familiar to me for reasons unknown (I only followed the Cloverfield and Dark Knight virals). Also, has anyone tried to figure out what it says in the camera on super8-movie.com?

edit: I just e-mailed the support for aladygma.com and this is what I got back:

Humans: Mission:
join the social.aladygma
Help the Leader Jay Novello to find Larry Dahlem
post everywhere about it.

NO!

Aladygma.com is an old game that started as a sort of gamejack attempt on Cloverfield in hopes of snaring people looking for a sequel.

Gee, does this sound familiar?

Yeah, that one has been found out by someone. Don't remember the exact words, but it was sonething like "Title:_______Owner:________Developed by Kodak"
So I don't think there is anything to get from it, they were just putting what would actually have been on part of a roll of Super 8 film after developed.

And it'd be nice if Guest wasn't talking to itself.

sorry

sorry i'm a complete spaz and didn't read the forum rules and regs and therefore didn't know me and my roommate couldn't use the same computer. I formally apologize to this entire community and my roommate, and i completely understand if i'm banned from this. After seeing the comment by the Euchre i looked up the rules and regs and i am truly sorry for being an immature brat and not taking two seconds out of my day to read what's necessary for game play. i really feel terrible.

Don't be so hard on yourself. These folks are pretty cool, and you should sign up. At least the posts will be coming from different user accounts.

Just open it like a regular account and then simply share the password between you. Work as a collective. Hell, that's what this entire thing is about. Smile

I think 2 accounts would be better, each under it's own email address for registration (as I presume you both have your own email accounts). Having two accounts as one person is what's most certainly not allowed, and when posting as a guest it's nearly impossible to tell smurfing, trolling, and sockpuppeting from two real people posting from the same place.

If you do need to use the same computer and internet connection, that's about the best you can do. It's also wise to be careful to avoid person to person banter, as it makes you look like you are trying to achieve the aforementioned negative behaviors.

JJ's previous major (and so far, similar) viral project Cloverfield ended up having it's forum closed to guest posting, because of the amount of disruptive posting that was being done by people abusing the guest posting function. By registering and posting from discreet IDs and directing your discussion at the general body of players, you'd help us avoid that same fate for this game.

Other than that you get some pets named sookie that need to be saved but the most recent is around April 16th 2010, before the campain started. I think were at a dead end with the ad for now...

Just wanted to make a quick note to say that Sookie is not, in fact, a vampire herself. She is merely a part of their world.
