Not sure that the Cloverfield forum would necessarily be unarchived, it would make more sense to me (though it's not my decision) to start a new subsection for the new experience. Moreso because it's looking at the moment like Super 8 is something separate to Cloverfield.

As such, please post Super 8 stuff in the main thread here [linky] rather than linking and cross-posting between the two. There have been things that people have done there that aren't here and vice versa. It's not a hidden club for Super 8, just a split discussion. Effectively you're unarchiving Super 8 (which was never actually archived by transferring discussion to that thread.

this movie has nothing to do with Cloverfield (at least, I think so, you never know with JJ Abrams).

True. Not likely but still... possible. So if anything resembling a CLoverfield 2 movie should surface then it should be posted in it's own Trailhead in the original archive.

Actually it's not possible since JJ Abrams himself has stated so. I am compiling a sticky post with the various news sources like Variety that carried the statements to hopefully put an end to the speculation and allow us to carry on with Super 8.

There are no plans on moving the Cloverfield forums from the Archived section.

Um, no it shouldn't. Chasing the Wish and Catching the Wish were the same author, some world, etc - but each is a separate game. Same for the Halo ARGs, each got it's own forum. If there's a sequel to Cloverfield, it should have a whole new forum, and should start in News & Rumors.

And no, at this point, Super 8 isn't it either.

Have any of you noticed that on Super8-movie.com the camera is trying to tell us a different message than the one from the trailer? Can someone slow that down and piece it together?
