[OT] old games So, we know there were hints about the Haloverse in various Bungie productions such as Myth and Marathon, but has anyone tried putting the Xbox halo game into a Macintosh?
Mac was their platform of choice before they went to Microsoft. Maybe they left something for all of their mac fans.

Might be interesting, but I'm not sure this is the appropriate place.

Xbox games are on DVD discs, so putting it into a Mac with a normal CD-ROM drive would not work. Putting it into a Mac (or PC) with a DVD-ROM drive will do the same thing the discs do in any DVD player - show the animated Xbox logo followed by a message telling you that the disc will only work in an Xbox.
Edit - Also, even if you did find something, I doubt that it would have anything at all to do with this game.

Yeah, about a year ago. Can't remember if I ever tried it with Halo, but all the games have exactly the same thing on them.

When I said "all the games" I meant all Xbox games in existence. They all have the exact same logo and message telling you to go put the thing in an Xbox.

well, as soon as I get my hands on Halo for Xbox, I'm going to stuff it in my Mac and see for sure.
But I think I'll go to sleep for now.

Yes, and while you do that someone might want to lock/destroy this topic.
