As far as the smiley face goes, I'm doubting it is more than a coincidence. Google is very slow at updating the photos on Google Earth/Maps. Heck, I have been working at my current job for over 2 years and the building I work in still isn't visible on either. Just to put that in perspective, the building is about 5 years old now... Confused

That said, I imagine Google would jump at the chance to help J. J. out, but I still doubt it's more than random (and weird) coincidence.

About Google updating, if you have Google Earth, in the view menu there's a historical map option that will open up a slider you can go between the different years maps of that area were taken, starting with May 18th, 1997, i think, to some new maps from august 2009, which aren't even the current maps on the start-up/default map view.

If you look at the Miaot area from the new map, the 2009 one, the key isn't there, smiley is different since it's street view and thats most likely the most recent your gonna get.

the more I look at moon picture, the more the white part looks like flames or fire. Almost like a solar flare. wow , I think we need some real clues because our minds start racing.

For the sake of our sanity, we MUST party!

Just sent mine in today, too. I really hope we get something. Or at least have some new clues start poppin' up. Cool

Ok, maybe this is nothing, but I noticed on the Rocket Poppeteers ad that they refer to Gordon Cooper as "Coop." I looked at all his biography stuff linked by wikipedia, and his nickname is listed as "Gordo". I don't ever see him referred to as "Coop."

Someone suggested that perhaps they avoided using his true nickname as to not infringe on him directly.

^^ Exactly.. If this games path were to somehow reflect poorly on his legend, could be probs.. there was only one original seven astronaut named Cooper..and they would have to pay big bucks for that endorsement I suspect.. Kinda hard to distance themselves from that..

I have a good feeling that we'll get something back in the mail. Maybe codes to access the site? Maybe some sort of certificate? Maybe lollipops with messages on the sticks after we eat them? Whatever it is, I can't wait...

Man, the postal service the World over would be terminally pissed if they had to deliver packages oozing artificially flavored gunk. I can't wait to see what will eventually be sent out (and I hope they will ship world wide). As someone mentioned (sorry, I don't remember who you are) a dream about a science kit arriving in the mail, I was thinking something along the lines of a space ship model kit. How awesome would that be? Model kits were HUGE in the 70's so it would fit the timeline quite nicely.

The guy right above you had that dream lol & yeah a model kit would be nice. What if they told us to build a space ship, but it could actually be built into something else that ended up being a clue or answer to a puzzle. That would be great.
