Success! Take a look at the letters in portals.jpg:

Some of the letters are actually overwritten with their l337 equivalent number (T = 7, S = 5, etc.). So spelling "therius" you get:

Anyway here's the link to the website.

I did some exploring and here's what I found.
Title of website is: "This is the first step to making herstory."
(herstory = history?)

There seems to be a blog entry called "desk covery" (discovery?):

An update. Victor has commented on the "desk covery" blog post:

I want them to begin the first step before I can even think of trusting them. Rathara, you know best but Sheoul would not want us trusting them instantly. He didn't. And neither should we.

It appears that the "desk covery" blog is Sheoul's parting words (before he was taken by Therius?). I think the first paragraph is meant to be a message for Victor. The second paragraph was a message for us.

This leads me to believe the following:
Sheoul is dead (or taken away -- at the very least, out of the picture).
Victor is a human, and is taking cues from Rathara (much like we followed Sheoul in the previous game).
Rathara is the one leading us to Victor; he is probably a demon like Sheoul, but apparently not a bhuta.
We are being asked to help Victor (are we the "ushoproda"?) on his mission, though I have no idea what it is.

I don't know about you guys but I don't exactly trust Victor either...

It looks like from the subject of this email we are looking for another @mail.com address to contact.
(EDIT: I can confirm that the mail address is NOT "therius@mail.com" -- got an error delivery response from it.
EDIT #2: same with "shaggaroth@mail.com" "gathharos@mail.com" and "shaggarosth@mail.com")

I wonder if the symbols with the letters beneath them represent a syllabic/alphabet writing system, and if we are perhaps to rearrange the S-H-A-GGA-ROS-TH syllables/letters into "gathharos." Then, we would look for line patterns that correspond to alphabet/numeral system. Hard part about this is figuring out where symbols start and end.

I loved it that me and posse got into a proper stand up arguement with Sheoul when we wouldn't tune till he told us the truth Very Happy
