This can make it a bit more obvious about the password, but it may still be a bit tedious to find the password...don't look if you don't want to know.

I also tried everything I thought about that:

I tried now to associate other words.

My idea is that "4 remains" + shape leads to TETRA.
So I searched for TETRA+BARK, TETRA+BARK+LIME... I found Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree), Hemigrammus lunatus (tropical fish)... Associating these words with malaria, I found words like tetraterpenes, tetrapetalonema, tetra chloride...
Nothing in that direction...


Do you have other ideas?

Okay, I surrender. New to the forum, but have been fighting with the Equation for about 6 months, and with the password. I've gotten what hints I can from reading these forums over time, and I know this thread is pretty quiet now, but I think I remember a while ago someone offering to pm help regarding the password for the Equation. So, I surrender. If anyone can help, please do.

Maybe we can get to where we can solve the equation password again.
The following are clues from Family Games website.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The telescopic vision is not as it appears - it is the beginning of one and the end of another.

The theory is out, but the equation will bring you full circle.

Looking through will give you the formula for the password; it need not be new.


Are there any other clues? Are any of these not intended for the password? What do they imply?

 		I wrote and asked Family Games if the final puzzle was still scheduled to be released soon. This is what they said:

"Yes, Secrets of the Pyramid is still set to be released at the end of summer 2010."

I guess we'll see. Fingers crossed - expectations low.

 		 The Equation Password
Please help!
Hi everyone,

Like a lot of others, I registered here because I am obsessed with this puzzle series.

So far, I've managed to figure out how to solve both The Secret (both puzzle and password) and The Equation (puzzle only, but the correct way, using the "blueprint") without needing any outside help.

...And then I tried solving The Equation's riddle.

I researched everything from equations and formulas to telescopes to birth and death dates, but I cannot seem to enter the proper password. I'm pretty sure I know the solution, but I can't figure out how to enter it properly, if that makes any sense.

I've been toying with this riddle for several months but cannot seem to get the solution to work. At this point, I just want to enter it and move on from this puzzle. I have the rest of the series (save the 7th one, of course) sitting on my desk, but I refuse to start the others until I enter the password.

So, if anyone knows the solution, please PM me! Thanks in advance for your time and help! Smile

So I found a few different solutions to getting all the pieces in the base. I've done lots of research on the various equations, although I can't seem to find reference of the 4 2 6xP 4 anywhere! Like previous posters, I researched telescopes, equations, prisms, orbits, ellipses, the scientists associated with them, etc. I just need help! A push in the right direction would be grateful! Thanks!
