Bet the PMs will *really* appreciate the timing of their ARG being delayed because of one person's interest in prolonging things just because he feels like it.

 		I would post on the CoDz forums, but that site is barely loading for me at all; I can't even register.

Is that site hosted on the other side of the world or something?

My god man, wtf what a freakin clusterF*^% this turned into! I was following at least somewhat to see what the outcome would be but this.....THIS is an abomination. I've got really no more to say than that, there's about a thousand things about this "ending" (or whatever it's supposed to be) I'd like to comment on but it's not even worth the time.

However, this is my greatest concern....Kaltern, this too was my "introduction" so to speak into actual participation in an ARG. Lemme just make it clear that, don't EVEN get the impression that this gknova BS is actually how they pan out or is anything CLOSE to the experience they're supposed to create. We're doing great things over at CFG and there are so many more ARG's here at uF that are actually for ARG PLAYERS rather than diehard fans of whatever they're marketing. Don't give up hope man, it would be cool to team up with you again in the future.....


Also, I've notice the same thing hawk about the CODZ site, it never freakin loads. Whatsup with that?

Don't worry, I'm still liking the whole ARG thing. Just wish that all our efforts were not as wasted as they apparently have been.

 		I am in Santa Monica.....not at my house when I get home in 13 hours I will write up everything that happend. You all need to chill out and have some patience. We are playing a game and right now it appears the ball is in my court. Over the next week I will be releasing the documents. I am trying to keep the fun and excitement alive. I have learned quite a bit about gknova6 and will share everything as soon as I have access to my computer and scanner. This has been so awesome for me and I can' wait to share evrything with you all. On another note.... no reason to knock on CoDz because your frustrated with me. I understand that you don't have the technical means to disseminate information. OK, that's fine and that happens.

The problem is that delaying release of information to "keep the fun alive" is not your job, it's the puppetmaster's. Through the flow and content of their own game, they decide how and when to "keep the fun alive". It's their responsibility to keep things going and keep the audience they are trying to reach interested.

So, unless they explicitly told you to drag this out for a week, it should not be a decision you should make. What if they *needed* to have this content released now because they have some content that's dependent on it tomorrow? Because you, in your infinite wisdom, without any direct guidance by the PMs, want to sit on the content for a week, you're potentially delaying their entire marketing initiative.

You should be honored to receive such a package, and you were probably chosen because of your public presence in the community. I'm willing to bet that they would expect you to release the information as soon as you can.

Because they only sent ONE package, I'm going to guess that its not time critical; if it were, they would have sent multiple to get maximum exposure. So this all might be a moot point, but none of us know that for a fact.

Don't delay that because you're concerned your audience's heads might explode. We're use to that happening, believe me. Wink

I'm not knocking CoDz because I'm frustrated with you. Honestly, I can barely access the site and I can't register; I'd be more than happy to register there and participate in the discussions in a civil manner if I could. Has nothing to do with you personally.

I'm going to bet this is Carbonfibah's first ARG (as it was mine as well). I know if I was in his position I would be completely freaking out, with no idea what to do next. Also as he stated above, he's without EQUIPMENT which is making it difficult to share.

Instead of beating him down, I suggest offering him help.

Carbonfibah, it would be nice to get at least some pics of the relevant info (like the parts that say MrToasty, AzureWolf, and Shizzire!) and anything that might be a code that needs to be decrypted. We can start working on those while waiting for some hi-res scans of the docs.

 		Sorry if I sound like I'm beating him down... Just trying to explain my reasoning in such a way that he and the PMs (which I'm pretty sure read these forums) understand.

Just like it might be Carbon's first ARG, I have the strange feeling it's the PM's first ARG as well.

Thanks for the forum link, but that's the link I've been trying. Every other thing I click on there either doesn't load or causes a connection timeout. Even from my OC3 at work.
