It's a great series to pick up, and the whole set will be dirt cheap by Christmas, so woohoo. Just try not to tear your hair out. Drinking games help. One shot every time Ana Lucia grabs her gun is a winner, or chug for "Dude".
...every time Sawyer says "Son of a bitch" or says a Nickname
definitely chug when they have to cross the island or go from the main island to hydra island or vice-verse

So now that Fringe is on the off season and Lost is over does anyone have any suggested shows to watch right now to help with the withdrawal?

Catch up on Red vs Blue . Currently on the 3rd of a trilogy.

All the good shows have ended & we won't have more till the fall. There usually aren't many good summer shows because most people are outdoors, which is exactly where I'll be. Though it would be nice to have at least 1 good summer show to follow.

I don't condone piracy, at all. But if one were to search in certain places for shows named: Life on Mars (Original series, starring John Simm) or go back a ways and find Millenium, starring Lance Henrickson and Terry O'Quinn in a very cool role. That would be a good start, and Millenium would probably get you through the summer, till Lost the Complete set shows up.

The original Life on Mars is great - a sequel series called Ashes to Ashes has just had its finale in the UK and (just from surveying twitter opinion) was deemed to be more excellent than the Lost and 24 endings.
It was pretty good

Ashes to Ashes How f'n cool is Glenister in that show. Started watching LoM, then checked out a few episodes of Demons (blah, not even worth a dry heave) but now have a crush on Zoe Tapper, so got hooked on Survivors, and now apparently that is cancelled. Damn you BBC and your nymphomaniac-like commitment to programs!!!

I've watched LOST Final too... (That's why I made distance to Facebook, Twitter, Unforums and other internets all the week...).
LOST Final was beautiful. LOST music is still playing in my head.
Tá-da.
Tá-da.
Tá-da, da-dá-da...
Aw, people, we must party, immediately...

Depending on whether the clock reads 'AM' or 'PM' I have too much caffeine or alcohol in my system for my emotional center to function, but the 'Lost' finale broke right through my drug-induced stupor. I cried happy tears of happiness, then tried to save face by politely explaining I had a sudden onset allergies.
As for the Fringe finale...I mostly just annoyed. Without giving anything away, the show seems to be peeling away from its X-File-y roots and becoming something much less interesting. In addition:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I particularly hate it when a series FINALLY thrusts the male and female lead together, relieving some romantic tension and giving the viewers a glimmer of happiness and then somehow cheaply separating the two. It just creates a 'hook' with complications, not plot. Pretty crumby in my humble opinion.
