Saturn might be some location of interest for the aliens, but it probably isn't where they come from.
just to state a curious fact on this subject ufologist and some scientist in past had a theory that a perfect place for a base to obsrrve earth would be in saturns orbit ufologist have said one of the moons of saturn could be fake with aliens living in it to observe i remember this in several books dunno if it will be a part of movie but dont think its anything of use

Would anyone be so kind as to spot a girl a coupon and mailing? I have no printer but would like to join in. If you are up for it, PM me and I will give you the mailing info. Thanks!

Europa is one of Jupiter's moons (and the one that HAL clearly told us was off limits Wink ). Enceladus is one of Saturn moons that is believed to have water and would be a good candidate for some sort of life.

Maybe there's some sort of reference to Enceladus since the Rocket Poppeteers site features a moon and the coupon refers to Saturn?

I just dunno anymore. Rolling Eyes

If you print it to a file (which can be done on Windows and the Mac) and you've got a USB drive, you can take it to a printing store or office supply store and get it printed for well under a buck.

Funny, that at the mention of Saturn, the moon which first came to my mind was Titan as a possible model (variation) of primordial Earth conditions for life generation, etc.

Certainly its hazy atmosphere fits the Abrams model of a 'mystery box', and the 1979 missions had trouble penetrating the obscuring conditions — Titan was much more the focus in this era than Enceladus.

Plus... some form of terrible "titan" seems consistent with Abrams and Cloverfield, not to mention how prominently the name Saturn rockets figure into NASA space exploration history. Nothing conclusive, but in the right neighborhood for speculation this early.

Suddenly I'm getting a vibe of THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN about this, which could make a scenario of the Government as the antagonist with civilians facing an extraterrestrial crisis in a small, isolated area plausible. No specific facts to support it yet, of course.

Saturn
and it's moons

A few days ago I looked up images of Saturn's moons and compared them to the one at RP.com, but none of them looked the same to me.

Again with Saturn!

Alright. This is probably going to be my last one for the day.

I was looking at the RP logo when I had a possible Stargate moment. What if those stars in the black field behind the boy and his dad are constellations? I connected the dots on the stars on the left of the dad and overlayed a couple of major constellations on it. I used only the ones that Saturn's orbit crosses through. I stumbled on an image of the constallation Hydra that was a really really solid fit for what I had done with the head and tail running off of the black circle. The only problem is that Saturn is a planet and might not have been in that position. The chart I used was from 2009 and put Saturn squarely in the center of the boy's head. The interesting part about this is that things thus far seem to revolve around 1979. This was from 2009. Saturn has a roughly 30 year orbit, meaning it could very likely have been in the same area in 1979 as in 2009. This again is a pretty big stretch, but the idea that Saturn, a thirty year orbit, it's reference in the RP maze, and the constellation being Hydra are all pretty impressive.

I don't have time to post images right now, but I will try to get them up tonight or early tomorrow morning.

There is a strong chance that I'm just sleep deprived and seeing what isn't there, but I suppose seeing what isn't there is the name of this particular game. Let me know what you think and again I'll get the images up ASAP.

PS- On this particular chart the exact tip of the kid's Rocket Pop is on the star Porrima in Virgo. This is probably complete happenstance but if anything Porrima was the roman goddess of birth and the future.
