Alright. This is probably going to be my last one for the day.

I was looking at the RP logo when I had a possible Stargate moment. What if those stars in the black field behind the boy and his dad are constellations? I connected the dots on the stars on the left of the dad and overlayed a couple of major constellations on it. I used only the ones that Saturn's orbit crosses through. I stumbled on an image of the constallation Hydra that was a really really solid fit for what I had done with the head and tail running off of the black circle. The only problem is that Saturn is a planet and might not have been in that position. The chart I used was from 2009 and put Saturn squarely in the center of the boy's head. The interesting part about this is that things thus far seem to revolve around 1979. This was from 2009. Saturn has a roughly 30 year orbit, meaning it could very likely have been in the same area in 1979 as in 2009. This again is a pretty big stretch, but the idea that Saturn, a thirty year orbit, it's reference in the RP maze, and the constellation being Hydra are all pretty impressive.

I don't have time to post images right now, but I will try to get them up tonight or early tomorrow morning.

There is a strong chance that I'm just sleep deprived and seeing what isn't there, but I suppose seeing what isn't there is the name of this particular game. Let me know what you think and again I'll get the images up ASAP.

PS- On this particular chart the exact tip of the kid's Rocket Pop is on the star Porrima in Virgo. This is probably complete happenstance but if anything Porrima was the roman goddess of birth and the future.
and i wonder if the alien shaded into the back of the kids shirt is then pointing at a certain star ? hmmm 6th planet 6 rings 6 flavors all three points that each are pointing at in the hydra could maybe b a clue but still if so its prob later i still believe next move comes by mail but good det work:)

JJ does have a thing for frozen sweets, doesn't he?

Our creature may not have been born to be evil, or intended such when it arrived here, but I think after being held captive then being slammed around in a train car derailment, anybody would be a bit pissy.

Indeed. One of the 'knocks' against Titan supporting life is supposed to be that it's too cold. Some scientists just don't get the concept of a delicious frozen treat! They're so delicious in summer. Very Happy

Rocket Poppeteers/Pop Rocks

While I was searching online to find the rocket shaped ice cream cone/popsicle thing that I swear I remember from my childhood, I found this:

http://store.candywarehouse.com/poprocksdips.html

I had to point it out because of the similarity between both the shape and the names. Pop Rocks didn't go on sale to the general public until 1975 though so there's probably no connection, but I do think it's a great coincidence. Thanks, I'll return to lurking now Very Happy.

Rockets have been in Holland since 1962. While we're deprived Laughing with just one fruity flavor combo, they're still popular.

Actually, I can swear I remember one with the gum inside the rocket lol! I spent forever looking for it and couldn't find it. The Pop Rocks Dip things are almost identical in shape to the Rocket Poppeteers pop though. I just thought it was amusing.

I miss the ice cream truck too...although I do still chase him down from time to time. Smile

Saturn Maze Link?
Eye Candy

Looks like, at this point, none of us has gotten this notice. (YAY!)

Anyway ... Along with all the "candy" posts on here, I would like to point out a discovery of mine.

MIMAS is one of the inner moons of Saturn:
http://www.solarviews.com/eng/mimas.htm

It looks strangely like our moon (and the moon depicted on the RocketPoppeteers' website), as well as the ... ummm ... Death Star.

Anyway ... I found some candy!
http://www.almimas.com/index.htm

Not totally off topic, but I think it's just a coincidence that the candy store has a similar background as http://www.slusho.jp/ ...

Oh ... While I'm at it ...

I'm flattered, but I don't have that kind of power.
Or that amount of time on my hands.
