I was thinking the same thing, although is it not possible that Kamal's mother knew exactly who sophia's boyfriend was? Kamals mother lives on coral, (as does sophia's) Kamal's mother wants to get to earth. Aiden gets people to earth. Aiden is sophias boyfreind.

In our hoodlums (or is it heavy lifting?), when it talks about how his mother responds to things she doesn't like "heavy lifting" makes me think that she would not be opposed to manipulating her son to get to earth.

I feel this thread deserves a bump, especially to evaluate the potential for the speculation to be true in the light of the latest axons.

Me, I don't think anything's been clinched yet, but I can still definitely see Sophia acting as a honey pot for Kamal.

Good points both ways, Here some more info we may have not thought of yet.

Remember when Kumal and Sophia were talking about Aiden and she describes him as one of "our hoodlums", what do you suppose that means? Is Aiden from Coral as are Sophia and Kumal? that could explain more of the Honey Pot theory. If Aiden has ties to Coral then he may have enough information to find suitable "resources" from amongst his connections.

Speaking of connections, As mentioned above are we not so sure Sophia's mother doesn't know about Aiden? Not as a boyfriend but as someone from Coral, especially since Aiden arranged to get Sophia's brother to Earth. This could make it easier for Sophia to hide Aiden as a boyfriend incase her mom calls during inconvient times when Aiden and Sophia are together.

Also I am not sure if this is trout but are Kumal and Sophia Jewish? The food they talk about and the guilt trips their mothers like to put on them seems awfully ethnic to me. That may also provide a connection back to Coral if Aiden is also jewish or of the same ethnic background as Sophia and Kumal.

I do not think Aiden is from Coral. I just listened to it again, and what they say about him is that it's not so much that he's a hoodlum, "it's just that he's not one of 'our hoodlums'."

"Our", as in, not a hoodlum from Coral, or even perhaps, not a hoodlum with a similar ethnic heritage.
