 		"Not aware of his surroundings" sounds like a fairly lame explanation coming from a cop. Wonder if this implies that the company can get the police to cooperate if they need to...

 		I'd say that's a definite possibility. The whole article gives off an air of invincibility about Aguatero, like they've got people in all the right places... What I want to know is, what did the former president of environmental and community affairs discover about his employers that made them decide he needed to be silenced (because I think it's safe to say that we're definitely not dealing with an accidental death here)?
Could it be something regarding what a previous poster said about Aguatero possibly addicting people to their products?

 		So I just found out about this arg and decided to send a quick application off for the stock position. It seems pretty interesting, and I'd like to see how it goes. I'm reading through and catching up, but so far, other than my own research, is there anything vital to know?

I'm not 100% sure how, but I was chosen for Pres of Environmental and Community affairs! I received the letter today. Here is what it says (sorry about no pics):

Dear Mr. [swift360]
It is my distinct honor to inform you that you have been chosen for the position of President of environmental and community affairs at Aguatero Industries. You impressed all of us with your qualifications and knowledge. You know how to handle tense situations with ease and can speak well with the public. In all, you can represent Aguatero Industries in a sleek manner.

This position is demanding. But we believe you have the skills it takes to market Aguatero Industries as an environmentally and civically [sic] responsible company. There are enemies of Aguatero, simply waiting for one small fault to pounce on us. You can help us ensure that these threats are nullifies by creating effective marketing and public relations campaigns.

Your position at Aguatero Industries is highly visible. You will author posts on our website and put your name behind them. You will communicate directly with our consumers and our enemies. You will help us to sway our new markets to have a positive image of Aguatero Industries.

I do not know though after the article about the last pres. i think you should be very aware of your surroundings.

I also think the idea that a player may be "killed" off makes the game even more exciting like a dinner murder mystery theater thingy like yeah something like that... Like a who done it. But you do not have to worry about me i am an ordained minister.

 		I agree, and I just want to make a point too. I will play the game and add info to the board - but I should probably either A) keep some stuff to myself - not knowing yet what that "stuff" may be and/or B) only post Presidential stuff as spoilers...

again, not quite knowing my role yet - but being a player - I vote for spoiler postings for some stuff. It does sound like I need to watch my back though. It looks like my PR role will be tested. I'm excited about getting lost in this.

Ideas?

 		Wicked; nice job Swift.

So from that we know:

- the guess about police etc being in their pockets is true
- they really ARE evil, or at least this Lucinda one is; no real pretence of trying to be good, and are happy to threaten their employees
- the bit about the 'flawless business model' and insatiable thirst supports the theory that they are putting things in their water...

...and that's just from their welcome letter!

Looks like we'll begin training in our respective positions tomorrow, though with this being a holiday weekend I'm not sure how involved we can get. I, for one, am going to be on vacation until Tuesday Sad

Grats Swift! I am all in favor of you spoilering some Presidential info if you think it's something we might all need to know. I'm sure as a Water Quality Analyst, I'd probably have info on what they're putting in the water, but we'll see.

Although something tells me this is mostly directed at you guys in the States... I'd be really surprised if Aguatero cronies came all the way to Norway to harass me Razz

I got the stock position, an email from Justin McFlyy and Lucinda. They congratulated me, said the same about, but Lucinda Rodriguez's letter ended with, "The force of our river is now unstoppable." Maybe I'm looking into things too closely, but that also sounds a bit creeper ish.

 		Hmmm...

Looks like the only employment openings left are in Sales/Stock. I've applied but haven't heard back yet.

Have heard back from Connor though - same email as everyone else.

I'm having trouble logging into the H2O team page. I get the password, but what do you use for the ID? The nick I signed up with isn't working as my ID there.

 		Congrats, Swift! Sounds like you should really watch your back. Methinks we should all watch our back, but especially you!

Anyway, I haven't stumbled upon any kind of training yet on their site. Has anybody else found training activities?
