 		[SPEC] Facebook Super8 Photos
Photo Link on Super 8 Has 28 Photos -
From the site I went to Facebook and In Like Super 8 and I hope I am the first posting this but there are 28 Photos in the Fan Area... Something?? Nothing Don't know yet

 		Looks strongly like it's not the official Facebook page for Super 8 to me. More of a place for gamejack material (some of the comments on the page reflect this too).

[Edit] Just to add, with Facebook creating pages out of everything in a profile, everything now has a facebook page, whether official or not. I'm sure the movie industry is going to want to control that a bit more now.

 		It was the page that came up from the Offical Website link to Facebook - Alot of wierd stuff but is there a Diamond somewhere in the Coal? Question

 		OK I see, the link you mean, from both the Paramount site and the Super 8 movie site

You would hope that the PMs of Super 8 would want to avoid confusion with gamejacks and moderate the Facebook page accordingly, but amygdala (see archive from 2008 here and certainly 500Rads here, aren't part of Super 8 and the latter is a gamejack attempt. The photos on the facebook page are all fan uploads. Some of the other images are already here in the forum and cropped from the trailer, others are bad photoshops. I think there's a lot of coal Wink

 		Yes a lot of Junk, But if anyone can post ... Like it seems it would be easy to get that one Daimond in .... I does seem weird to me also, and many OOG posts and Pics. Paramount might have a reason to allow the postings. Have they done this before? anyone? or could it have been a mistake to open the the page up like this... I have no Idea

i believe the very first day there were only like 4 pix on it i assume those are official but who knows

Same here, ridiculous quality - check out the photoshop fail in the picture attached - the ice cream is changed to look like a "rocket poppeteer" but its shadow is not!

possibly. I mean it IS a gamejack. And those/that dude/dudes seems pretty desperate to appear game related to cloverfield and/or super 8.

hmm...the game's been around for a while, lost some appeal, but it keeps luring us back in some how. I was thinking; it's so obviously nonprofessional...maybe the point is for the virus to just spread to the point of oblivion.
