My only issue with this is that I don't see the basement area as a parallel dimension or domain on its own. It seems clear to me that Alex and Seth actually made their way into it through conventional, Earth-plane means, so perhaps it is the ark, or the location of it? I'm really just spitballing here.

Only problem with the tapes being the ark is that once Jay fled his home, TTA had access to them. It could even have been him who burned the place down to get rid of them. Because it seems that the camera and tape are a plant, it's not likely that those two are the ark, either, as TTA would probably have had to have access to them beforehand to plant them.

Chances are high that if they're making a Part II, it's going to be revealed some time then. As much as dropping clues early is a good thing for us fans... it could just be that they haven't shown it off yet, or at least not in a way that suggests that it's the ark!

As for Tyrannuss' suggestion that Alex can't be TTA because he's scared of Slendy... I don't think that's a solid reason to discount him. If that were the case, Alex could just as easily be acting as TTA to try to appease Slendy, or else as an act of desperation to try to play things out so that he can get disentangled from the whole situation.

I think that it's more likely that Alex isn't TTA because he doesn't seem to want to have anything to do with the tapes, and seems to have legitimately been safe and leading a new life with no Slender Man interruptions.

...On the other hand, Amy could have been brainwashed and made to forget events on multiple occasions so we really don't have anything solid to stand on, there.
