Anyone know why the sun has spots? I would assume they are solar spots (flairs?) but who puts those on an animation of the sun?

Um, that's an inverted image, as in black and white is now white and black. That's not the sun, it's a vignette of the sky with stars. The stars are of course now black dots on a white background instead of vice-versa.

Just as a point of clarification..

Rocket Poppeteers is the name of the Iced fruit bar..Not Rocket Pops..It says try one today..in 6 out if this world fruity flavors.

Yet it seems to also be a club of people that you can become one of if you join up..

"become a Rocket Poppeteer and join the race for outer space"...

So, how does one become an iced fruit bar?

It involves cherry flavoring and a bath of liquid nitrogen. A very cool way to spend the summer. Very Happy

"Rocket Poppeteers... it's PEOPLE!"

I got that same reply back just now from Capitan Coop. I find two things curious.

1) When I e-mailed, I included my Astronaut name (Tracker_56) so there must be something else needed too be approved or whatever because I'm sure they've gotten my coupon by now.

2) Why does it take so long to get a response? The reply is word for word the same, but for some reason it isn't automatic. This seems odd to me for some reason.

Just because the coupon was released to the game players and we sent them back doesn't mean that they're ready to proceed with replies. BR and the viral managers may well have a determined calendar for game reveals, and they must keep it on schedule so it ends "on time" with the film's release.

Not rushing replies to coupons would seem doubly applicable to this earliest portion of the ARG, when there's no rush to proceed — and likely the production company/studio want to build up players without getting too far ahead of the new players.

Also, I doubt those running the game are actually sitting in Minot, ND sorting through our envelopes! All the snail mail would end up being redirected to wherever the game masters (minions?) are located. Often, they're not staffed by multidudes either. I'd much prefer quality of responses over quantity or alacrity. Smile

Rocket Poppeteers

I emailed captaincoopSPLATrocketpoppeteers.com a few days ago and got a reply a couple of hours ago. I asked: Hey Mr. Cooper. I sent in a coupon to become a Rocket Poppeteer. How will I know if I'm picked?? They replied: Sorry, kids. Captain Coop Cooper is out on another cosmic adventure!

Become a certified Rocket Poppeteer Astronaut and join the race to outer space!

I can't wait to find out if I'm a Poppeteer!
