Hmm...sounds like we ended up with the best possible ending, then!

"Herst is the Saxon name for a wooded hill"...no final E there, but not sure it matters...but I do like the look of a certain place with a 1930s folly garden, a separate butterfly garden, and a Canadian connection to boot! ...though maybe saying that folly garden is in a clearing might be pushing it...depends on what you want to call a clearing.

I didn't mind the cuturally-specific stuff so long as I could rely on players over there to come through...and y'all did a fantastic job at that Smile.

I think I ignored Ancaeus because at first he came across to me as being kind of new and unsure...asking if he had to use a butterfly picture, and saying, in response to Aethalides' request for info re Tiphys, "I'm just the driver in a sense, so not much to report. But thanks for emailing me though about this - nice to know what the project's about for once..." I guess I got the impression that he didn't really know much...and I think he's been with the Ministry longer than I understood (but should have, seeing as I did note from someone's research in the wiki that Ancaeus took over Tiphys' job after he died). He sounded almost like a temp to me Smile. His opinions and resources probably would have been valuable.

The other thing about character contact was, hey, I went out on a limb helping Jason and working alongside him as much as I did, seeing as I didn't trust him, either...risking reaching out to other people at the same time was not this normally-introverted person's style Smile.

So...what's it like over there in August Smile?
