Actually, it isn't from star trek. It is from a roller coaster in King's Island, in kentucky. I was just there, actually.

King's Island is in Ohio.

Considering that the PDP-11 Sim is running RT-11, i loaded a real PDP-11 Emulator with RT-11

here is the command description:

EXECUTE Translates, links, and runs a program with one command
SYNTAX
EXECUTE[/options] filespecs[/options]
SEMANTICS
To compile multiple files (up to six) into a single OBJ file,
separate the files with plus (+) signs in the command line.
Multiple files separated by commas (,) are compiled
independently. You establish which compiler is invoked by
specifying the compiler as a command or file option, by
explicitly specifying the source file type, or by letting the
system search for the file type.
The default file types for output are .LST for listing
files, .MAP for load map files, .OBJ for binary output
files, and .SAV for memory image files. Default file types
for input are .MAC for macro programs, .FOR for FORTRAN
programs, and .DBL for DIBOL programs.

PRINT Prints files on the line printer
SYNTAX
PRINT[/options] filespecs
SEMANTICS
The PRINT command accepts up to six input file specifications;
separate multiple file specifications with commas (,).
Wild cards are accepted in place of file names or file types.
The default file type is .LST.
If the queue processor is running, files are automatically
queued to the line printer

REENTER Starts a program at its reentry address
SYNTAX
REENTER
SEMANTICS
The program that is in memory in the background area is
restarted at its reentry address.
OPTIONSREENTER
None
EXAMPLES
REENTER

The COMT command does not exist

PS: Please Don't tell me that i missed it in the search....

Oh me too. Especially when it comes to the computer. And decoding sound sequences with 8 notes...and ultimately discovering 5 new websites, 3 characters and an essay on astronomical explosions causing radiation on little known towns in North Dakota in 1913 and how that relates to JJ Abrams new Super 8 trailer.

I wish I could do that ;-p

Has anyone identified what the numbers that follow the file names in AF-B4.01 may signify?

Someone said a while back that they're probably file sizes. Makes sense to me.

Hi guys,

New to this thread, but I did a little research on this point. Here is my theory:

AF - Likely Air Force
B4 - Could this be referencing a star type sequence, as this revolves around an alien presence?

Sound File Song Match?

That sound file that you can hear from the STIES site, do any of those music finder programs find any matches for it?

Like ones you get for the iphone where you hold up the phone to the music and it finds it for you? Somebody try it and see!

The fact that on AF FILE LIBRARY there are two that match

DD09 Extract
CL03 Transmission

here AF-B4.01 DIR:

CL03 .WRK 2
DD09 .WRK 2

can we do something with that?

I hate to keep throwing speculation into the mix, since that just adds to the confusion. So, I wanted to ask about the newspaper pages first before I make any comments.

If the pages are made for the game, and not really from any existing newspaper, past or present, then the other articles that we see portions of, are also fictional and produced by the people running the game, correct?

So it's safe to assume anything on those two pages could possibly be clues also, yes?

The article about the hydroponic gardening system keeps popping into my mind. From what I understand, the Golden ratio is present in flora and fauna. This seems like a clue.

I know we're all assuming the plot of the movie surrounds aliens and such, but does anyone know if the facilities at Area 51 may have done more terrestrial experiments? Like genetics, or anything having to do with hybrid plants?

Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather see aliens ripping people apart, then a "Day of the Triffids" remake.

Not all of the articles are completely fictional. Page 2 includes part of the 1963 JFK speech that addressed the the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. It's possible that the other articles are also "real" articles as well. So far, nobody has found real articles to match those of the newspaper images we've got.

As far as Area 51, it's experiments are classified top secret and so there really is no way of know exactly what they've worked on there. It's barley even recognized as a military base by the government. But what IS known about the base is that it is a training and testing ground for experimental aircraft. The U-2, OXCART and Have Blue programs were all developed at Groom Lake by Lockheed Martin. That's about all the "facts" you're likely to find about Area 51.

As for genetics, and/or genetically modified plant life, I'm sure you're not the first to speculate on the possibility that it happened at Area 51. Because of the secrecy, the base is a breeding ground for conspiracy theories.

This is a fictional newspaper article referring to an actual real-world speech by Kennedy. That doesn't mean it's a real article from a real newspaper.
