Sorry. I have been very vague because I am... a little stressed out.
Do you know how complicated it is to lose your father, not knowing where he's been brought to?
The tool was a crowbar, with GF carved onto the handle.
I will send a scan of the paper soon, I don't get it.
Father must be going insane. I'm sure there will be room in the nearby institute once he found.
If you didn't already know, my name is Chell.
Now back to business, Daddy worked a successful company, and he takes credit for the shower Curtain.
Today was going to be his birthday, but he went missing. I had even made him a chocolate cake.
I am sure he's FINE. Tomorrow I will check Daddy's computer, but for now I'll rest.
I'm so GLaD I have time now......wasting.....

a CROWBAR with a GF carved it it? really?... Thats blatantly Gordon Freeman. and then "I'm so GLaD" Guys, this just seems way too simple minded to me, just my opinion.

Maybe they want us to know?

It's grassroots. You just got to roll with it.

An I don't think it was necessary to spoiler the blog post. A "[quote]" tag would have sufficed.

ooo fun! Ok, here are the questions and what I THINK the answers are:

Puzzle one; 3 words:
I might need oranges to make a drink

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
First letters: "I'm not mad"

Puzzle Two; Number amount solution :
Line=1
Angle=2
Triangle=3
Square=1
Parallelogram =???

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I think this corresponds to the number of syllables in the word. therefore, parallelogram would be 5

Puzzle Three; Pattern Answer:
!,@,#,???,&,!!,!#,???,!(,???
(Hint: look down, ???= place for answer.)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
This is a list of prime numbers, but I can't figure out why the one is there. One isn't prime, is it?
1,2,3,???,7,11,13,???,1(,???

1,2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23

Puzzle four; Five Words:
i m o o l i
a n f o s r

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
anagram EDIT oops I mean read letters down and up to find "I am no fool sir"

Puzzle Five; Number Answer:
5+5=?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
well, is this a trick question?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Not an anagram... Reading it vertically, you get ia/mn/of/oo/ls/ir

You're WAY smarter than I am, Nighthawk!!! I saw that right as I hit 'submit', but only after POURING over anagrams for like ten minutes!!!

Ok, sent the answers in, I'll let you know what I hear back! Did you submit them too, Nighthawk?

EDIT: 24 hours later.
Just checked my email and I have this:
This is a triumph. You are exceptional with your efforts, and for this you shall be rewarded with information. I will not bombard you with details, or my emotional reaction as I do on the pages, but I will lead you into the direction of something bigger, or at least I believe so. Forgotten Resources Of Stolen Team Apparently, OPERATION FROST is undergoing to keep daddy hidden. Stay on my side.  Stay Smiling, Chell.

I just woke up with a missed IM sitting there from chelllearnstruth.
Quote:
chelllearnstruth: Hello+Are+you+there?
Hello? I need help...
I have been told about you.
My last life-line was a bust. He lied and gave away my secrets. What a fool!
Is this you?
I will not be ignored. Besides I have science to do. GoOdByE!

Sucks that I was asleep!

Just sent my answers in as well. Hopefully I get chosen. And if not, I suppose I can join the bad guys. Smile

Heard from Chell again. Sounds like she's drawing Cerebra into this as well!
Quote:
0:29 AM chelllearnstruth: Feeling stronger?
me: Feeling here, at all.
Sorry I missed you earlier.
10:30 AM chelllearnstruth: It's fine. Thanks for noticing the call
me: No prob. What can I do for you?
chelllearnstruth: I found something...um...interesting.
me: Shoot.
10:31 AM chelllearnstruth: Blood. Daddy's machines are testing it now.
me: Where was it?
10:32 AM chelllearnstruth: In a vile tucked inside his pillow case.
me: That is... interesting
10:33 AM chelllearnstruth: It's been tested for days.
me: Days?!
Nothing's come up?
chelllearnstruth: Something has come up.
10:34 AM It seems to belong to one of the Smith clan.
me: Who are they?
10:37 AM Hello?
6 minutes
10:44 AM chelllearnstruth: hey
me: Oh hi again
chelllearnstruth: BRB moms Calling
10:47 AM okay Im back
me: welcome back
10:48 AM chelllearnstruth: Sorry about the confusion.
me: No prob
10:50 AM chelllearnstruth: MOM or Monitor Of Millions, watches the planet for father, that's how I found you
10:51 AM It also runs DNA tests and much more.
It was coming in with the identity of the blood.
10:52 AM me: Oh cool! Keep me posted
10:53 AM chelllearnstruth: It says the blood belongs to Buchworth Smith, one of father's colleuges.
10:55 AM me: What did father do?
10:58 AM chelllearnstruth: Father...umm....killed him. During a test of his, he needed to find how little posion of unknown chemical if took to heal Smith's disease. It turned out to kill him.
11:01 AM Smith had a disease created by Father, so it was Father's job to fix it.
me: What was the disease? What did it do?
11:04 AM chelllearnstruth: The disease didn't have a name, that I knew of. It ate away the memories of your past, some how. Not like amnesia, it only takes memories before you had it.
11:05 AM me: That is a type of amnesia, actually
11:06 AM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retrograde_amnesia Wink
11:07 AM chelllearnstruth: It's wierd though, he always said he was cold.
11:08 AM Wait, so Daddy invented that?
me: Retrograde Amnesia?
11:09 AM I don't know if he invented the condition, per se. But it sounds like he came up with a way to do it intentionally
chelllearnstruth: Yes, he at least took credit for it. I believe that's all possible.
me: How long ago?
11:10 AM chelllearnstruth: I'm not sure yet. I have to find Fathers journal.
me: Alright. So, is there anything I can do to help you out?
11:11 AM chelllearnstruth: Wait, just a moment please. I have something I must do.
11:12 AM me: Certainly
chelllearnstruth: Alright I am Finished.
11:14 AM I had to use a program to expand my knowledge. It must be done every three hours.
11:15 AM me: That's weird. I was doing something like that a bit ago
11:16 AM chelllearnstruth: It has been giving me a headache though, I imagine I will quit it soon.
me: What's the program do?
I mean, like obviously it expands your knowledge
but can you tell me anything else about it? maybe who made it?
11:17 AM Whoa. Sorry. Connection dropped there
11:18 AM chelllearnstruth: Xpand group? Cereba? something like that, I can't think though. My head hurts.....
It's fine.
me: Wow. That's super wierd
11:19 AM chelllearnstruth: How so?
me: I was one of the first people to hear from them
11:20 AM chelllearnstruth: Father's company was one who helped with the project. They have to work out a couple bugs though I do imagine.
me: Yeah, you saw the messages too?
chelllearnstruth: Yeah.
11:21 AM Sorry to be leaving so soon but I can't think. I'm going to take some rest and possibly talk later.
Goodnight.
me: Goodnight!

How weird is that?
