I think this is most likely the case as well. Hopefully mail comes in a couple weeks. And then the site opens up.

OK, my curiosity is peaked. What does SAGODNE mean? I assume GOD in the middle of something but can't quite figure out it's meaning. Google was of no help on the subject.

I get "insane god" from it or "god insane"

I got "God is insane" (i.e. "god" is in "sane")

That one's pretty good as well. I describe it as Insane God. Now when someone Googles it there'll be something for them to find. Wink We should probably shut-up about it now, before someone shows me the definition of saARGne. ARG

Right, so here is my logic. The person on the system that put the print out option up was most likely not Dan Morris since he is the admin on the system and the one posting publicly (presumably). If this is true, then who else would have had access to this system? Who was in/near/worked with Dan Morris that may have also come out eventually?

Lastly, have we applied the golden ratio to any of our existing artifacts. By this I mean have taken the articles and adjusted things by the ration and looked for patterns, have we taken the message print out and arranged that with the golden ration. Often times a cipher or code needs to be reinserted back into earlier artifacts and a second message is present.

that's a great idea! can't believe that I didn't think of that! Maybe we can use the Golden Ratio as an Ottendorf Cipher and use it to decode some of the documents!

I started trying to apply it to the other hints we have like 21 +/- is equal to 8. still stuck on it though.

Does anyone have a vocoder they could run that sound file through? It dawned on me the other day that you can hide voice in a sound file, but I don't think anyone tried it..

And yes, I did look for some software, but I couldn't find any for free...so if someone happens to be able to access one I'd like to know if it does anything...

thanks...

That's a great idea...but how would one undo voices that have been passed through a vocoder? Do they make unvocoders?

Dont think the PM's really expect us to provide a Vocoder to solve this puzzle. Thats just a tad extreme..

Vocoders were originally used in WWII to code and decode voices so yeah...there has to be some way to do it..

Today most of them are used in music, but I was hoping one of the regulars might have access to one..

Not that it's the solution, but a possible one...maybe..

Well I've never used it before but you may try Vintage Vocoder. It is open source. I've downloaded it now and will play around with it.

ETA: Ok so Vintage Vocoder seems to be a plugin (or a codec) and not a stand-alone program.

ETA2: There is also Zerious Vocoder download here. I've downloaded it and played a bit. Can't find a way of unvocoding, yet. Also, only likes wav files.
