They Live! I haven't seen that in years! Roddy Roddy Piper ftw! lol That was one of my favorite movies back when it first came out. In fact I'm gonna go download it right now for nostalgia sake! Third best Carpenter movie after The Thing and Prince of Darkness.

Anyway, sorry. You got me all excited and I had to share.

Never seen this show Odyssey 5, sounds cool though! was it canceled without a proper ending ala Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles? or did they have time to resolve the story ala Jericho? Just seeing if I should bother checking it out!

Can anyone corroborate my findings on the guardian incidents on our side? I admit, while I did research for awhile, the findings were rushed and not as well put as I'd have liked them to have been - though they seem to get the point across. Any one get something different?

Well I looked up the historic events he spoke of and found the same as you. in every case everything happened as he said in our world except for the mentions of gods in the ways he describes. There is never any mention of light gods or any such things as that. so i guess this all means the guardians never existed in our history and only in theirs?

i'd say lets check with alvarez to make sure he's not making shit up but malcolm would know we could just ask him. so i bet he's not lying and is telling it as it is in their history books.

the numbers before was a countdown to a date wasn't it? it was showing how many days, hours, minutes and seconds before a date was to be hit sometime in July. I'm thinking it just stopped counting down when it hit 21 days, hours, minutes and seconds before the date.

I forget what day it was originally counting down to in July but i think if you knew that you would know what day it stopped on!

oh and of course an ingame reference of the number 21 is used as the 21 negative energy thingies the satellite uses to open the anomaly + the 21 different symbols used in the opening puzzle which in turn is the cipher which = the 21 most used letters in the english language.

Any other examples of 21 elsewhere that i'm missing?

I can't make out anything. Well, not anything meaningful. I managed to pick out certain hex patterns because they're easy to see but they're just symbols: %29 %21 %28 %40 %2a %23 %5e translates to )!(@*#^.

The problem is that you can't just plug in the whole thing and pick out the parts that work. If you put an extra character in it throws everything off because each part needs a certain number of characters. For example 2345 would work as a set of 4, but 12345 wouldn't because it'd translate 1234 with the 5 separate.

I'm not sure if there even is a message or if this is just a red herring. The other messages used one type of encryption so you could just copy & paste the whole thing. Even the meaningless ones where Henry pieced together spam were easy. These are so much harder that they stand out. I'm by no means an expert though, so just because I didn't find anything doesn't mean there's nothing to be found.

I wouldn't be surprised to find it's a big fat spam email that means nothing! Also I'm pretty sure lrkr figured it out a long time ago but he has disappeared. I tried private messaging him and got no reply. he said he did them all at the time and told us the ones he thought were an important message.
