[SPEC] Super 8 creature size and appearance speculation Tried searching to see if someone has started this yet and could only find a similar thread within the Cloverfield game. Apologies if I overlooked it.
This isn't relevant, at least not yet, to the ARG but it struck me that until now I have unconsciously formed an idea as to what the "creature" looks like without having any real clues. So I decided to start thinking of what we can tell so far.
1. Able to fit inside a train car with enough room to pummel the door (unless it is telekinetic pummeling)
2. Based on the impacts on the door it seems to have at least two arms. This is very speculative however as it might not even have arms.
That's where I am at so far. I know at this point there is hardly anything to go on but, what do you think?

As long as it's a lion and it's huge I will be happy.
ETA: I am curious why the two methods of getting the door off. The wheel turns while something is banging it from the inside...is that two things or one thing with an indecision problem?
Then again, what about some sort of transformation like the Hulk...the thing starts out normally trying to open the door via the wheel but the transforming is happening and growing larger, causing the banging?
I don't know. I would like to know what that part's about though.

Watching the trailer, you can see it moving around behind the rivet holes, as it tries to bang it's way out of the rail car.

See I assume greys are in the film and the creature isnt a grey tho.So i hadnt thought much about it but something the gov added alien dna to is a good concept.Because I still dont think greys are the bad guys most likely.

Well, technically we don't know that its a living being at all. I like to think that it is but who knows, really. It could be mechanical, biological, pure energy, extra-dimentional...or a barely substantial black smoke monster. All we know is that it's an "it" and whatever "it" is, it can smash through steel doors.

More than Grays in the Car? While this may not be the most accurate source of reference, one person on the Super 8 Facebook fan page mentioned this might be about aliens and children with advanced telekinetic powers.
If this were true... what if a child tried the telekinetic way out of the train car first, removing the rivets and turning the handle. Their method didn't open the door so its friend decided to use brute force?
If that were the case, i'd imagine the alien/creature to be fairly large (not Clovie size) but large enough to make that imprint on the train door with what looked like a fist or knuckles.

Ohhh, government....must you always tinker and meddle where you have no business tinkering and meddling? You're like a retarded 8 year old with a lighter and kerosene.

When I first was the trailer, seeing the "JJ ABRAMS" title, I was totally thinking a baby cloverfield or something when I saw the train getting dents knocked in it form the interior.
