The wave's on... Google Wave, of course. And it's secret so that Aguatero doesn't discover it. Though that seems like it'll happen anyway as Lucinda just started her own wave to discuss it.

Just keep an eye on the wordpress blog if you want to stay up to date with what we are being mailed and what we're piecing together as Connor has posted all of the pictures and such from the googlewave.

You're not missing out on an important info, don't worry. He's pretty much pasting everything on the blog except our minimal chatter.

In the team member center of the Aguatero page, Lucinda posted this yesterday:

(6.9.2010) A major breach in the confidentiality of Aguatero Industries' purification processes and operations has been detected. Operatives from http://ourwaterplanet.wordpress have come into possession of materials that could sink us.

We're on damage control. Social media networks need to be engaged and warned about Connor Arter and his misinformation. Please do this on your personal pages as well.

We'll be setting up a discussion about our next steps soon. For the time being, remain calm and advise all customers that this is an elaborate scheme to defame us.

I haven't been told to do anything specifically as the Pres - and I'll just wait until I'm told to. But - obviously - Lucinda is now keeping her eyes on Connor. Someone should probably let Connor know that he is being watched closely (if it hasn't been done already).

So now we know they have this stuff in their water, we have Jamie's logs, we have Lucinda on the wave making threats of various sorts, and claims that they are planning to put this stuff in the water supply. If we were going to blow the whistle on Aguatero, when would we do it? And how would we do it? Do we wait for Connor to tell us what to do?

We have our second assignment for you. We would like you to write Aguatero's reaction to California's rejection of Prop. 16. Aguatero Industries is sad to see that the resolution did not pass, because it could raise rates for our customers and does not ensure that everyone gets the unparalleled quality of Aguatero's beverages and urban water. It's rather unfortunate that it was rejected. On a confidential note, citizens of the United States, a capitalist country, don't deserve the power to handle and operate their own utilities and natural resources. We believe we do a significantly better job of it, don't you?

[edit] I have a proposition. If anyone from the area has a little more insight, I wouldn't mind them writing this. I actually have RL right now (my wife and I are expecting a baby this week actually) so my mind might not be sufficient for this. Also, I'm from the midwest, so I don't have a lot of detail. But, if you're from the west coast, or just want to take this assignment - just send me an IM and I will allow you to write.

So what are the odds that this is a setup by Lucinda? On the one hand, the notice was posted on Connor's public site, not the private one that may or may not be more secure. On the other hand, I would expect Connor to let us know if his site had been hijacked... unless he isn't around anymore...hmmm
