Great parody, CountZero. You sound just like a 50's gangster SPDR.

This is looking great! We have almost every axon assigned for day 1! If you are available to grab any of the unclaimed axons, speak up. The axons with ((_______)) still need people to get them. I suspect some of us could try to get them later in the week or over the weekend if they are left unclaimed. It would be nice to get them all early though. Smile

You're welcome to come to Redmond also, but it's like 3 blocks from my house, and I've gotten it the last two rounds. I will be there answering that phone. You might be more useful meeting with AngriBuddhist and grabbing the 18:43 or other Capitol Hill axons. Up to you, of course.

Unfortunately, it will be tough for me to get across the bridge in time, due to my work hours. If needed, I can go hit them on the weekend.

The new axons are live! Of note, we own 3 out of the 11 for thermostat, and 2 out of the 8 for clearly_a_glitch. We're going to be important in unlocking those!

In case you haven't heard, the passphrase for this round is...

Playing with some stuff at work, did a little reverse geocoding on the Never Found above:

596 Mercer St, Seattle, WA 98109
630 Taylor Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109
581 Roy St, Seattle, WA 98109
654 SR-99, Seattle, WA 98109

These are the first 4 possibilities with the top being more likely. Hopefully this can help.

great job on seattle axons

Nice work, everyone! I was surprised to see the Freemont axon go live since no one signed up for it.

AngriBuddhist, you rawk! Thanks to all for showing up. Tomorrow we conquer some more.

Thanks Tien_Le.

17:17- I hit major f'n traffic on the way to Seattle and missed it by
three minutes. I left a note taped to the inside of the phone saying
"the answer for the strange voice is Greene". I have no idea how
long it will stay on there.

17:37- Got it
17:43- Even though I left a note on this phone, before going to the
earlier one, it along with my reckless driving didn't help it go hot.
17:57- Got it
17:11- Got it

That was me.

I got the 17:39 one (barely - showed up with a minute to spare) and the 18:27 (easy). Since I had time and it was nearby, I drove on down to Fremont and freaked out the people waiting for the bus.

Well, I can get to this one this afternoon after I attempt the one in Seattle Center.

FYI--I'm pretty sure the 09:57 axon is the pay phone at the front door of Larry's Market. Maybe someone can get to it this weekend. Even tho it's only a block away from the 15:23 axon, the time differential is too long for me.

Great work detayl getting to the Fremont location. Hey, freaking out people at bus stops is what we live for, right?

Nicely done.

seattle axons

I'm going to take a page out of AngriBuddhist's play book and take the following message to the 9:57 phone if it isn't answered today.

If this phone rings at 9:57 am, please answer it.
You will hear a recording that is part of a game.
At some point in the recording, the female voice
will attempt to verify that the person answering the
phone is 'one of hers'. When she asks who the
Captain of the ship is, please reply: GREENE.
You may say GREENE more than once to help
the voice-recognition software capture the correct
answer and continue the recording. You will then
hear a short conversation.

Those of us playing the game will be grateful
for your help.

Feel free to visit ilovebees.com to see where this
game originates from.

Okay, I lied. Turns out, I will be in a meeting. But I promise to definitely get this one by the end of the week.
