 		Looking for an available PM team.
Wanting a game put together to promote my website
I just started a new venture and was trying to think of a way to advertise/promote my website and it hit me! ARGs!

I do not have any extra time to try to put anything together and was hoping to find a good PM team here. There is a budget, but it's nothing close to what the big dogs have.

The website is a new social/news outlet for maritime workers and people interested in the riverboat industry. I built the site from scratch (still working on some aspects of it). The only code that isn't mine is the phpbb forums. So u can guess that it's something that I really want to see succeed.

It is possible to do an ARG on a shoestring budget, if you can find a way to keep the number of domains down to a minimum and not hand out lots of swag (gifts or plot props). Most grassroots games were run with minimum budgets and there are resources out there if you take the time to read through the various forums to find them.

Since your site is geared to a specific group/industry have you considered puting a classified ad in one of that industries magazines? You should consider which is the best use of your budget.

 		arg for who?
not meaning to be discrediting, but maritime workers, from those few that I know are usually quite tired and not really arg-ers as it were - thinking your budget would be better spent advertising elsewhere...
args are fun but only work well for viral media - news for maritime workers is quite niche - good luck with your endeavours though!

 		I've been a maritime worker for over 13 years and I think an ARG would be perfect!
