You could upload it to http://www.filefront.com and post the download link here. The upload button is at the very top of their page, right of the middle.

If you PM me, I can give you my email address. I have a RapidShare Premium account. If you email me the file, I can post it there for everyone.

and you got that from just slowing it down by 70-80%? no other mods? cause i slowed it down right after you said and got nothing

Edit: sorry, not been sleeping well... there are other mods, but i didn't fiddle enough before i said anything as it didn't sound like the same file, but i was asking if thats all cause i've heard a song like that before, i wish it was sped up a little, the gaps are a little long for it to register clearer, but it sounds like a song i've herd recently, trying to see if i have it atm but it could take a while

The end is kinda trippy. Sounds like a voice, but not necessarily saying anything.

I killed a lot of the gaps, from down peaks with noise to uppeaks with no noise. I can edit down the gaps a little more, its hard to match the noise and if i edit it to much I can make it sound like anything

here it is again with less gaps and a more detailed match, but again, its not spot on.

You have different alterations between your notes (steps in semitones) than the original. That does not happen by simply slowing a file down. So, what exactly did you do?

First I slowed it down only by starting at 25% increments. When I hit the 75% mark, i thought I heard something so I deleted all (most) of the large gaps, I didnt want to over edit so I left the little ones. then I published the first file. Then, on the second file, I deleted the rest of the gaps (almost completely) and thats how we got to where we are today.

And what software did you use?
And, most importantly, what version of the file did you start with?

so the reason for all this is because somebody said the audio sounded like it was under water. By that I took it to mean that it sounded like there were reverberations. Then someone posted the sound wave and you can see the note structures on it. I at first suspect it to be the audio of a conversation sped up so significantly that it sounded like tones, which can happen. Then the goldencookie post had that guy playing the piano and I said, "shizer that sounds like the tones, maybe its a song.", which then prompted me to slowly step it down in speed.

still not sure if it means anything

So, you took the original expcnv.mp3 that was posted here? Or did you rip it yourself, etc? Can you link the original file you started with? I'd like to redo your steps. It's interesting, in a way.
