You know, after watching the whole thing again (and freaking myself out till the sun finally started coming out), I was kind of hard on Entry #24. It's kind of messy (the various counters), and kind of boring to watch, but the soundtrack was pretty good at holding my attention.

I think the place being messy is part of the point! It shows off nicely that Jay is stuck in a bad place with nowhere to go, you know? At least it's relatively short.

No, no, no. I mean the visuals. The overlapping time counters and such.

Oh! I thought that that was intentional as well: the different timestamps overlapping and restarting was their way of showing that somebody had tampered with the tapes, or that there was some otherwise undefinable difficulties with the camera (a la Slenderference) that was causing them to garble up like that. The way that TTA works, I'd imagine that leaving big, fat clues like the overlapping timestamps would be something he'd do. On the other hand, visually representing a Slender Man-manipulation in new and different ways can be tricky!

So, any word at all when production picks back up? I am getting really antsy.

There's nothing from the makers themselves, yet. They did want to assure us that MH would be continuing at some point in the future, but the last that I heard, they needed a break and wanted to do some comedy stuff. I think that rather than dropping this for an indeterminate amount of time due to laziness, they're probably taking the summer off to do what they want and recuperate from all the work they had to do!

I agree with Dray, mmhm. I would much, much rather the creators take, let's say, six months off before putting out videos. Sure, they could do the filming for an entry or two before they begin and then release them on a pre-made schedule (a kind of buffer, if you will).

I think that releasing the tension rather then snapping is preferable, no?

Don't rule out the obvious. They are great writers and filmmakers, but they're not David Lynch. I'm not saying this to be mean, haha. Theorizing is the BEST part about the series. Sometimes when you consider the obvious, it could lead to some breakthrough discoveries. Just sayin'!

It just struck me that we never figured out what the hell attracted Slender Man to Alex in the first place. I mean, considering the series makes the bold claim of encountering Slendy three years before he was invented, they do surprisingly little to explain why he started bothering the cast in the first place.

Oh, well. Season 2, I guess.

So, let me pose a question. How do you feel while watching Marble Hornets?

When watching the Entries, I fee pretty good. But when watching audio distortion/totheark videos, my skin keeps going up in goosebumps D: Especially Warning.

I find my brain tweaks and I suddenly become very paranoid when the distortion happens (entries and totheark both). Otherwise, I enjoy myself.

I couldn't stop grinning during Warning and ######. My favorites by far. Even while watching them the first time when they were first released late at night, it was less dread or fear than anticipatory glee. I kind of trusted the MH crew not to do anything bloody or gory or with needles (wtf is with horror's preoccupation with those? XP) so I really enjoyed them. Sort of like the same feeling you get from a drop-of-doom amusement park ride?

I don't know, they were like delicious enigma-candies to nibble on. "What the hell did that mean?!" and "oooh, delightfully creepy!" all rolled into one!

I feel totally fine while watching the videos. Like, they're just youtube videos after all.

I go "woah, that was crazy/cool/whatever." And move on.

The problem comes after, when I sit back in my chair and look out at the dark hallway. Or after I shutdown my computer and start getting ready for bed. Or when I am leaving my friend's house and have to walk through the dark parking lot.

That's why I love MH. It's not terrifying when you see it... it's terrifying after you see it.

Before watching this series, what would you do if an extremely tall man in a suit just suddenly rounded the corner wherever you are right now?

You'd be like, "hey, that's weird."

What would you do now?

You'd shit bricks.

I actually think it may have made me more sensitive to the creepiness that is my Infection poster rippling under the wind power of my box fan. Like his face is moving.

I also have a loft bed, so occasionally I think about how easily someone could be hiding down there, a grin spreading across their hidden features.

I also say things involuntarily when I'm falling asleep, and if it jerks me awake I start looking around to make sure nobody but me could have said it.

I have a related story to MH-related paranoia.

Now, between the fastest route between my house and my school involves going through a tarmac path through a woodland area. At one part of it, there's a tunnel that is directly underneath the nearest set of train rails. It's downhill on the way there, and thus uphill on the way back, with the "tunnel" being at the bottom of it (and ergo, the bottom of the "hill").

I was on my way back from school when I exited the tunnel, and turned the corner. Now the path's route (once you leave the tunnel) is something like this;

Code:

       |------
       |
       |
       |
       |
       |
       |
       |
       |
       |
      /
     /
    /
   /

That's a bit crude, but basically it. Until you get onto the vertical line, you can't see up it (and the same applies for the horizontal line). So, I walked up the "diagonals" and got onto the path. And right at the top, there was a bald man in a black suit. I was viewing him from behind, and there's a few trees which have grown out almost horizontally over the path. And just the positioning of one of these trees made it's branches (which were blackened, as they are framed by the sunlight) look like they were a) attached to the man in question, and b) not branches at all.

I was worried for a second or two before he turned the corner. And then I felt foolish Sad
