Btw that would probably also explain the BB logo in PB's video footage since she was probably using the hacking tool on her mobile to access BB database or protect the data dunno...

more emails between jack and me; i decided he was a betting man, and set up a game of Acey Deucy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acey_Deucey_%28card_game%29

Quote:

subject: let's play a new game
from: cyngs
to: knave

Acey Deucey

What is your bet, sir? Does it fall in or out? And don't forget to throw your chips in. But what shall we play for? Clothes? Cash? Cars? Out of Compulsive Gambling Addictions?

here's an idea: how 'bout we play for questions; if the house wins, you need to answer any one question I ask (and I'll pretend you answered it honestly); if the house loses, you can ask me any one question

cyngs

Quote:

In of course, in like Flynn.

Your terms are acceptable.

Let us begin.

Smile

so i decided to push my luck and ask 20...but 10 of them were nonsense...i was hoping he might give something tangible for 3

Quote:

Here i had 3 cards that i don't feel like uploading right now because im lazy...but acey was the Friar's picture

Acey One Eyed Jack Deucey

Aw...look at that. I win again! Poor Jack...Lady Luck must be on my side.

Now to pick my one question....what shall it be.....

You should know better than to trust a deuce. Give me an inch...

1) Are you an animal, vegetable or mineral?

2) Are we in between the sheets together? I can never tell with you.

3) Which way does your staff swing, sir? (Acey/Deucy)

4) Can you be perverted from your current course of action (whatever it is)?

5) to join a good cause, the better cause?

6) Whose side are you on, anyways?

7) Should I try to bed the King of Diamonds in your stead? Would he be more fun? (I'm guessing at least more rich)

8 ) Jack Spade, may i call you Sam? Let me be Frank (unless that makes you uncomfortable).

9) Why did you want us to hack Babs? For what purpose?

10) So...is it bigger than a bread basket?

11) Were you the one that was in Claire's flat when Thomas called?

12) A train leaves Boston traveling 120mph, at the same time a train leaves Chicago traveling at 100mphs. Which band is better, Boston or Chicago?

13) Why are you here? (answer directly sir, no metaphysical bullshit)

14) I mean what is your involvement? (I suspect a smart-ass answer to 13 so I rephrased the question)

15) "Know any more games, Harry?" (Oops! I mean Sam)

16) Is Babs broken?

17) Did we overlook something?

18 ) If so, what?

19) Did you talk to the weasel?

20) Fool.....

Of course, if you must only answer one....answer number 10.

<3

Deucy

i was hoping he'd give me SOMETHING...he didn't give me much...but there are a few lines to chew on

Quote:
Dear Curveball,

I do not fancy that I live in the land of the blind (though people are dreadfully near-sighted at the best of times), nor am I inclined to wear the sunglasses if you know what I mean.

Are we playing 20 questions now? My goodness gracious me. I suppose this is where I'm so impressed with your roguish charms that I just fall all over myself in my hurry to answer anything you deign to bestow upon me. Maybe I should even swoon a little. Hm. Nope, it doesn't seem to work. Sad Well I'll give it my best shot anyway!!

1) Are you an animal, vegetable or mineral?
For sooth, it is my ambition always to be the most delectable in the vegetable patch; which to some would mark me as a rabbit. The real question here must be "do you look positively heart-melting in a blue coat?"

2) Are we in between the sheets together? I can never tell with you.
Isn't not knowing way more exiting?

3) Which way does your staff swing, sir? (Acey/Deucy)
Madam, what exactly do you mean by that?

4) Can you be perverted from your current course of action (whatever it is)?
Absolutely.

5) to join a good cause, the better cause?
Is it not for clergymen and not fools to dictate what is good and what is not?

6) Whose side are you on, anyways?
Truly, is this Harlan County?

7) Should I try to bed the King of Diamonds in your stead? Would he be more fun? (I'm guessing at least more rich)
Rich, certainly! Though I can't see why else you would want to, but nary is it my place to stand in the way of any pursuits you may find yourself following.

8 ) Jack Spade, may i call you Sam? Let me be Frank (unless that makes you uncomfortable).
You can call me Susan if it makes you happy, though it might make me less inclined to take your case.

9) Why did you want us to hack Babs? For what purpose?
Why, for me of course.

10) So...is it bigger than a bread basket?
... is it safe?

11) Were you the one that was in Claire's flat when Thomas called?
Me? Doing actual work? Good heavens. Absolutely not. That isn't my scene.

12) A train leaves Boston traveling 120mph, at the same time a train leaves Chicago traveling at 100mphs. Which band is better, Boston or Chicago?
Pass.

13) Why are you here? (answer directly sir, no metaphysical bullshit)
Ain't no rest for the wicked, money don't grown on trees.

14) I mean what is your involvement? (I suspect a smart-ass answer to 13 so I rephrased the question)
I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed!
(BE MORE SPECIFIC)

15) "Know any more games, Harry?" (Oops! I mean Sam)
I know Go Fish and Old Maid. Smile

16) Is Babs broken?
Is it working as intended? Not hardly.

17) Did we overlook something?
I don't know! What can you see right now?

18 ) If so, what?
idk, have you been outside today and watched the stars?

19) Did you talk to the weasel?
I beg your pardon?

20) Fool.....
That's not a question at all! Think you could slip that by me didn't you well you were mistaken young lady. Mistaken.

his answer to 14 is interesting, in that maybe he's giving me an in to find out...

sorry for the double post

but the last one is too long

quoting azure on how to play the game on you pc if you dont have a nokia phone as it bears repeating

Quote:

To play cell phone games on your pc install this: http://webstart.mpowerplayer.com/index.jad

Then to download the game go here:
http://www.4shared.com/get/285995012/911a2f62/Exclusion_s60e3_1_0_3_UID.html

When you open the mpowerplayer click file->open and click the file you just downloaded.

eta: forgot to post the game: http://www.mobisym.com/nokia-mainframe-liberator-v-105-for-s60v5/

eta: btw, the game was uploaded on the 18th...i think it's really sucky that jack had to practically hand it to us in an email...you would have thought that at least one of us genii would have figured that the email hacking software, "where we found the other thing", was where we found the codes to hack babbage

i mean....are we getting lazy or what?

eta: so in the emulator the game is sidewise...but ignore that because once you get to the play, its fine...but for the tutorial you can't see what you are doing---so now i have no idea how to play

Nice find cyngs, I knew they were eventually going to have more games too and didn't check.

Anyways, I don't think the mpowerplayer will work, the phone has a much larger screen and the game appears to require net access something the mpowerplayer doesn't seem capable of. Our best bet, for those of us without nokia phones is the SDK which includes an emulator and i believe can access the net. I can't test it however as I'm on a terrible connection at my Dad's house this weekend. Oh and the SDK is over 600mb download.

Anyway I'll give it a shot tomorrow.

I for one have been out of town, it is Father's Day weekend. Rolling Eyes

I'm trying to find a PC solution for the game, I'll update here if I find one, currently I'm looking at the Java ME SDK.

ETA: Noticed something interesting on the Map at CFG, http://conspiracyforgood.com/map It now shows Nadirah's location, CFG's Location, and the location of BB agents. The agents have been "found" by different users of CFG, I'm fairly certain this is tied to the new phone game as the url is mentioned within the game.

I have a N97 handy so I downloaded and played the game a little. Completed a level and got given a mail account ID for mail.blackwellbriggs.com and a deployment ID for map.conspiracyforgood.com
Not too sure what either of them does, but yeah.

going into the babbage account from stewardoflondon access it gives you 5 tracks

you can open a mantis player from there and mix the 5 tracks together

when i play it, it just makes a pretty song....until 15 seconds towards the end, and then i can hear a word (or two) being said, but I can't make it out

the word is only there when all the tracks are mixed together

my ears suck, i'm sure somebody hear make it out better than i can

the best i can make out is: "this/these music?"

I managed to subtract the Hope 1-4 tracks from the mix in the mp3s cyng was talking about and (sort of) revealed the hidden message.

Here it is:

(I'll try to transcribe it, but it's somewhat hard to understand at points - or maybe my ears are just shot from the repeated jingly music. Wink)
Hope - Hidden Message.mp3

WOW...great F'ing work!

Here's the transcript so far....

Quote:
You have found the hidden message, you are world champion of the conspiracy.
I am the steward of the conspiracy for good's london chapter.
For now, I wish to remain anonymous.
Too much is going on in london for me to reveal my identity.
You need to find pegbox's package.
You need to bring it to london.
I understand this raises more questions than I can possibly hope to answer.
But rest assured it will all reveal itself in due time search in [indiscernable -2 syllables] for the answers....

Having some trouble with the very end portion...
