Maybe we'll have to get up to 777/777 and all the WAVs will unlock, including the ones we missed previously.

Well it looks like we left 3 behind
I wonder what will happen to them?
Someone mentioned that we might get them once we reach 777 and Melissa can "trust" us.
Here's hoping

Do any of the coords of the missed wav match up with coords from the preview? If they don't the phone may keep ringing, if they do, then my bet is we'll get a freebie.
I bet that we will get switches in the Axons. This happened before for several sites on the first se, possibly as a result of it being noted that they didn't align with any phones (or were out in the ocean!). The location of the one Axon in Davis changed between the first posting and when the first call came through. It has been in all four sets since.

Was anyone working on the 6AM PDT axons for fable.html?
DC had one - 6:27 PDT - lost in the bowels of Union Station, sorry we could not find it.
But I'm curious if there were others - esp. if there were others where the phone has been found but Melissa did not recognize the answer....
Well, we'll see tomorrow what happens with the three we did not get...

Sorry guys... I tried, but there are just too many phones for one man to cover in the area I went for today. I wound up hedging my bets and stuck with the first phone I could find that took incoming calls (that was close to the right coords).
Here's goping we get another shot at the last few .wavs from round 3.

We might be in some deep trouble after today...there are wav files we've missed now, but we probably aren't going to get another chance at those axons sine round IV in all probability is tomorrow...

no phones in New Orleans I have a report from some friends who went to the 11:13 thin_kinkle axon in New Orleans:
Quote:
There was no pay phone that we could find anywhere... There's a possibility it was in the locked Communications and Music building, which is the one closest to the mark there...
We had both remembered a payphone being on the park side, but the city has recently done a lot of work up by the park... and there's no phone there. :(
I walked all around the building, trying to find a way in, and asked a couple of people who were on campus there if they knew of a phone. One of the guys just laughed when I refused his offer of his cell phone... Or it's inside the building there, and [the PMs] have no way of knowing whether it's open or not.
This was for the axon located between Tulane University & Audubon Park. There is another New Orleans axon on the other side of Tulane down Loyola Street, but my friends didn't know to check that one out. They might return again tomorrow, at the new time of 06:57 PDT (assuming the Tuesday update mirrors the SP's sneak peak).

I also tried for Thin_Kinkle. There was 1 set of payphones close to the coordinates, and another set down the street a bit. The ones down the street were beat up, so I chose the ones closest to the coordinates. The phone never rang.

Go Carrollton Georgia! The 6:17PDT fable axon just went hot! Surgery is now live. Just 2 more wavs now for round fable.

My spec was right! But only to a limited extent.
One Fable axon has changed!
For zip_your _shirt on 9/13 we had:
06:49 PDT 36.494518 -078.177811
Now it is:
06:49 PDT 35.908075 -079.024834
Hopefully this is one someone can get!
No changes for "thin_kinkle". Don't know if there were "surgery" changes as it went hot before I could get a copy this morning.
[edit - the new coords are on Raleigh Road in Chapel Hill, NC.

Cool! Hopefully, someone can make this one go hot.
If the Queen is reading any of this feel free to change an axon to the Memphis, TN axon. Your crew is here, and needing more work. Hint... Hint... You can make it any time you wish, even 3:17PDT.

I tried to talk my husband into going out to the original coordinates for that 0649 zip_your_shirt (36.494518 -078.177811 -- Wise, NC), but he was completely against it. He didn't want to spend nearly two hours driving to a place where there might not be a phone...I guess it's a good thing we didn't, since they've moved the coordinate a bit closer!
Chapel Hill is still a good hour's drive away from me, though, and I'm not particularly familiar with it. Tell y'all what: If that .wav still hasn't been unlocked by Saturday, I'll drive out there and try to find the axon if my schedule permits. (I'm moving over the next two weekends, so I can't guarantee anything.)

zip_your_shirt There is something wrong with the zip_your_shirt axon. The little bar for the codebank is listing 4/5, but if you count the actual axons listed "CONNECTED" there are FIVE of them!
*Going through the thread to verify enhottenated axons...*

Well so Melissa cheats too, huh?
OK just a few hours slow on the update?
Did anyone report getting the last axon there?

and now, zip_your_shirt JUST went active at 11:28am PDT.
EDIT: If I remember correctly (curse this photographic memory), the page listed the hot and cold axons as follows:
H H C H
C H C C
C H C C
Given there was a two minute gap between axons this round, and using the excel spreadsheet xnbomb uplaoded in his previous post, it looks to be the 6:49 axon. Unfortuately, now that it's hot and archived, we can't really know for sure.
