Wow, lots of sweet TRON stuff coming out!
And those light cycles are pretty darn cool! Would love to see the whole "crosses through the other's trail, it'll fall off the wall or ceiling" thing, that's too awesome

If you watch the video, you'll notice they have a few lines spoken by Sam's action figure. Basically they don't tell us too much we don't already know, but one of them does tell us Sam's experience will be in part like his father's.

Hmmm, Christmas/Birthday wishlist is building now. I'll take the iPod docking station, headphones, action figures and lightcycles. Wonder what else they'll put out with the Data Disk as a basis?

Oh hey guess what we already have two topics this could have gone in. If every single toy that comes out gets a new topic, this forum will be swamped in toy topics...

After seeing the figure of Sam with the face projection feature, I'm really reminded of the effects that Disney uses on the Haunted Mansion attraction. I'm surprised no other companies have tried using something so innovative with their products. I definitely can't wait to see the final products when they hit stores (hopefully I will have some extra cash to burn on them as well, lol).

The Star Trek reboot movie used a similar thing for a transporter room toy. Press a button and watch Kirk materialize along with accompanying sounds.
The toys kids have nowadays, eh?
I used to play with rocks. It was fun making them materialize through windows with accompanying sounds.

Echoing this - is it possible to have a kind of sub-forum for all threads related to merch? The amount of threads on the subject are overwhelming. I get that it's keeping us busy while the game is on hiatus, but it's just gonna get messier when the game kicks back in.

I Second that emotion..... I love the toys and hope to see more, but we need a place to put them all a "toy box"....

Talk about the ultimate Tron toy. For a meager $35,000 you can get your own, working Tron light-cycle. Only five will be made! God, I wish I had an extra 35k to blow on one of these puppies. ~sigh~
