Well E3 has passed and yet nothing new on this ARG. I think there just waiting for the posters of black ops to run out or something or either there just waiting for the right moment. either way its taken too long!

on the phone number

SEIT5EH if you say it out loud it's Site5A if you take the A and change it to a 1
since it's the first letter in the alphabet you get Site51 classified base in Nevada. Sound familiar?

The number of beeps are 3121614. The ones might be separators, which would make the number 3264. I considered that because there are two other 4-digit numbers on the poster: "One-Seven-One-Two" and (I think) 1781. I did try 3264 as a pin + mailbox number but it didn't work.

3264 is the year the new coop made takes place in its suppose to be some sort of an alien invasion i dont have all the details yet but this is what i have learned so far and 1781 was the year that a ufo was first found in russia, and the beeping noise is the ufo's homing beacon getting closer and closer to you.

~~~~~ I locked this thread, because it appears it should have been a reply to a thread rather than a new one. if someone can PM me and tell me which one, I can merge them. Thanks!!!! I was told the post belongs here, if i moved it to the wrong place, feel free to PM me Smile Pixie
back a couple of pages someone posted a video of a number being dialed. there is music that, if i am not mistaken is the music from zombie mode when you get the damn teddy bear, and some beeps.
you get the response
I can not find this poster that keeps getting mentioned and i probably could look harder.
Typing anything to this number gets you the above mentioned message but "help" to this number gets you
Quote:
ipsh! http://ipsh.net/support/433339.html -866-401-0129- supportSPLATipsh.com standard msg charges apply reply stop to optout.
Going to http://ipsh.net/support/433339.html brings a titled oberto "eat like an alpha" mobile support page with info about the customer using ipsh.
going to Ultimate alpha zone website takes you to a broken link but if you delete the trailing page you get to oberto's eat like an alpha campaign page.
So the number appears to be part product placement or red herring jerky
You can see the poster here:
http://www.codblackopsblog.com/pre-order-call-of-duty-black-ops-poster/
If you look closely at "side 1" you can see a phone number, ip address and the "433339" number mentioned above.
This is all very old news, and the phone number when last dialed led to some strange music box/ice cream truck like music that we ultimately decided was most likely a "call waiting" thing. The IP address led only to a sign up at gamespot in general from there they have only spammed my email with completely irrelevant material, though I haven't unsubscribed on the off chance something relevant will come along. So far as I know no one did anything with the other numbers.
This appears to be a Gamespot initiative not a Treyarch one, though some have claimed that Treyarch alone designed the poster and as such it may indeed be a clue that some day closer to the launch date will cause this to pick up again.
If it does, then maybe the animosity generated by leaving us all hanging might have calmed down enough for a few of us to return Razz
New lead?
Have we seen this before?
Searching google for site:gknova6.com led me to
the attached image,
http://mail.gknova6.com:2095/,
and
https://www.gknova6.com/~gknovasi/.
http://mail.gknova6.com:2095/ intrigues me the most. Seems like a new lead, unless this has already been reviewed in the depths of this thread.
Basically all you found is the admin preview site, and the webmail login.
Very standard stuff, and completely out of game.
I wasn't sure, and I'm just looking for leads. Have we gotten anything out of transmission7.mp3? Or any other leads?
And pardon me for asking, but I'm new to this ARG. To what degree are you involved in this ARG?
This ARG is dead and has been for a month now.
There was a dead drop, the very last thing to happen, that produced zero new leads.
Just for clarity sake, this arg is dead.
SAN CRISTOBAL, CUBA: Aerial view of one of the Cuban medium-range missile bases, taken 23 October 1962. On 22 October, Kennedy said Russia had missile sites in Cuba and imposed an arms blockade. During a week, the two super-powers were head-to-head in their game of nuclear poker while the rest of the world watched, fascinated, but hardly daring to breathe in case one of the players made a fatal mistake. On 28 October, M. Khrushchev promised that the Russian missiles based in Cuba would be dismantled. In return, Kennedy promised that the US would not invade Cuba and would lift their blockade. I'm so confused. What image was stegged, where did it come from, and what was in it?
